@Specimen I should have a fix for this, trying something different.

@Iichen93 even if you could use them, their full body meshes so you can't mix and match. (Aka everything from the neck down is just one torso-option that has the arms and legs attached)

No idea if you can change Militia alone with Appearance Manage but they don't wear "selectable armor" which is what AM is aimed towards.

They are still moving around yeah, just that they're T-posing when it's not their turn, then when it is their turn, there's a pause, then an abrupt action, be it movement or them firing.

I can potentially reverse the update (or rather that side of the update) if required.

Are they moving around? I flipped a toggle for them to be able to take cover which was my theory on why they stood still.

I could in theory give them their own AI independent of the base game Militia to see if this fixes problems.

Rephrasing my now deleted post to be a bit clearer. The T1 Mecs are T-posing for me. Their firing animation seems a bit janky as a result, along with a slight hang in the game prior to firing. They weren't doing that prior to the recent update that fixed the issue with them standing around like turrets and not moving.

This is the only mod with the Resistance Medic, do you have the original Xcom Legends Bonesaw mod? Maybe that's having issues?

That means you don't have the Resistance Warrior DLC which is required.

It's not just fully black, it's more like there's no textures for the soldier wearing red clothes + red backpack at all pretty funny

Hi Deadput, is your mod incompatible with any cosmetic mods at all? Asking since I've noticed this soldier with the red backpack not having proper textures, it's just fully black. Think image 9 of your screen shots. I run project dollhouse and I can also see the textures is just fully black on my xcom soldiers too. I've verified files and I do have all the needed dlc + clean soldier generation.

I'll come back and let you know if this happens again with some resistance + resistance mechs showing up as enemies or just not attacking at all. The shadow chamber mod I'm using is [WOTC] Full Shadow Report and all the mods in core collection from Iridar + cosmetic and qol mods and cosmetic mods. Also thanks for all the replies, likely it's something else in my game conflicting with a mod that makes the teleport happen, I've seen this with enemies moving a lot faster then they should be. Chances are though, it's from [WOTC] Unified Gremlin and Bit Movement Speed. Ever since I added this mod in I've seen the soldiers move really fast, from advent soldiers to resistance soldiers 99% sure the fast moving soldiers/enemies are from this mod haha

Strange, if all the other Militia were working then I'll chalk it up to a strange spawn unless I get more reports. Unit type isn't tied to cosmetic so it wouldn't be the outfit or anything.

So they were using the Tactical Legacy Pack DLC Assault rifle then? That would be one of the base game Militia then at whatever tier they showed up as.

As for the moving soldiers, yeah that's base game. Not sure if they should be literally teleporting instead of running into the section of the map where the main group of civilians are.

The medic is holding a silenced weapon looks like the weapons from the legacy pack. With the teleporting soldiers they first get to move and then I get a cutscene with bradford saying I cleared the area and the resistance get to move again another time which is pretty funny. Yup I removed don't pull the trigger since it's already in your mod.
"Iridar for the Template Editor used to give the Militia Assault Rifle the TLP look." Was using this rifle only one that didn't shoot though the other militia and the resistance mech shot normally

@Ray turns out I kinda-sorta did for tier 2/3 Mecs and that I was thinking about tier 1 Mecs which were set up as intended...it's been fixed. Thanks for pointing it out!

@Ray The Resistance moving elsewhere is base game, it means you cleared out the first group of enemies. If it comes with some civilians being saved and Central speaking about them moving then it's fine.

Weird on the shadow chamber thing, their not set up as enemies so not sure what's causing that. I've had the medic-outfit Militia function just fine on my end and saw it working for others (like ChristopherOdd) so not sure what the cause on that would be.

What weapon was this Militia holding? It's unlikely tied to the outfit but to the unit themselves.

The resistance soldiers move randomly too, sometimes I kill a enemy and the resistance soldiers will move even though it is on my turn to somewhere else. I'm not sure if they shoot after or it is just another mod called idle suppression that makes them shoot after

Noticed a bug or two. One bug was once I got the shadow chamber unlocked the resistance mec showed up as an enemy even though it's not and another bug was one of the soldiers with the customization from your mod was in my mission completely static. Did not move, did not take any damage at all (blasted him with grenades + psi abilities) This person was wearing the red uniform with the healthkit thing at their back. I do not have any other mods that touch militia at all, just your mod.

Yup saw it work for me any mods you recommend using with this? I had no issues using don't pull the trigger with this as well just wondering if I should remove it or not but it shouldn't matter.

I see, I did spawn a lot of the volunteer army via console commands to test and they all had default xcom tier armor.
The ones I spawned were:
balistic : volunteerarmymilitia
magnetic : volunteerarmymilitiaM2
Plasma : volunteerarmymilitiaM3
and
: civilianmilitiaM1
: civilianmilitiaM2
: civilianmilitiaM3
all 6 of these commands didn't really change anything for me though guessing this is only for the specific retaliation mission with militia support

Militia Visual Overhaul unlike past mods do not address the Volunteer Army soldier you get from that sitrep.

Adding moded cosmetic outfits like the ones in this mod doesn't work anyways despite my attempts in previous mods, funny enough Volunteer Army was meant to dress in the same Militia outfits that base game WOTC Militia do but that doesn't work so their just dressed up in normal Xcom tier 1/2/3 armor.

Played with this a fair bit today I didn't see any changes I'll have to hope for a retaliation mission to see if this works on my end but missions that give me a free soldier for a specific mission doesn't have any of these new looks but then again I turned down all the cosmetic options in the menu to 0 so that could be why

I would not know, depends on how LWOTC handles these kinds of mission.

Because there are new units in this mod (even if they are functionally similar to vanilla Xcom 2 Militia) the encounter list stuff is changed in this mod, so it might clash with LWOTC

But I can't say for sure since I don't play with the mod sorry.

I think the idea was that you sub to this mod after the others but I don't think it matters nowadays.
