Giver

Adds Giver, a hard-working pet that helps with colony management.
She loves cleaning and will work hard to clean the colony, as well as haul and feed the sick and baby care without the need for training.
She is very helpful to the Colonists as she regularly provides them with milk and herbal tea.


The Giver cannot speak and has the intelligence of a child, but she works hard, laughs a lot, and is attached to you.
She can't do difficult jobs, but she will do her best to clean, carry things, and serve food.
Her smile makes those around her happy, and it suppresses insults between Colonists.
She loves berries, and it will be hard to convince her to be patient.


The Giver has a keen sense of taste and can detect foreign objects in their meals. If you see this emotion, I recommend discarding the meals.


With a smile, the Giver helps with baby care tasks like a caring nurse.


The Giver's soul is special, and once it dies, it never comes back to life — even if you reload your save data.
This mod does not alter your save data, but the death of the Giver you observed is governed by a unique, irreversible mechanism.

Also, I do not recommend using mods such as the Character Editor to summon the Giver. I strongly recommend you weave your own story where you meet the Giver in-game. It is relatively easy to meet the Giver.


- giver's milk : No risk of food poisoning. Even babies can drink it.
- giver's wool : Suitable for clothing fabrics in cold and hot biomes.
- giver's herbal tea : A drug that has the effects of achieving a positive mood, deep sleep, enhancing the healing power of illness and injuries, and preventing Metal Horror infection. Each effect is weak, but there are no side effects.When Dubs Bad Hygiene is installed, quench a dry throat.When Odyssey DLC is installed, this prevents grav nausea.


- These drinks will quench your thirst if you have the Dubs Bad Hygiene mod installed.


- Giver master can gift this accessory to his Giver. This is recommended if you have many givers in your colony.
- Most accessories are locked and will not appear naturally. The lock will be gradually removed over time.
- Many of the accessories can be found by the giver's master as souvenirs from the destinations he visited during his long travels. This mod recommends caravans.
- Your lazy act of warping to faraway places using SRTS etc. does not qualify as travel.


- These lovely floor drawings will be available for cleaning the next day. Players can continue to exclude them from cleaning.

I have never written any code in this mod that actively writes to the above folders.
This mod previously output multiple config files including backups, but now, like other mods, it only outputs a single config file and only reads and writes to that file.
The author believes that the logs generated by file operations on Giver's configuration files may have been mistakenly interpreted as a virus.
I have no intention of harming your PC.
I don't know much about ServiceState, so if you want to know more, ask someone who claims to.

Q : I want to resurrect my dead Giver. I cannot accept that she cannot be resurrected through save & load.
A : Because to the author "Giver is not just soulless data," I created her so that once a Giver dies, she can never be resurrected.
The Giver is fleeting and fragile.
If you restore your dear dead Giver, she will become "just soulless data" just because she was even slightly interpreted by you as nothing more than data, and she will no longer be able to set off on a journey carrying the memories you shared together.
Please mourn her death and give her a respectful funeral.

A : Giver is a timid and weak creature. You will be responsible for protecting her from predators. Her abilities are demonstrated not on the battlefield but in the day-to-day running of the colony.

Q : Can I install Giver on a save file that I'm currently in game on?
A : Yes.

Q : The Giver often interrupts my work. It's inconvenient, so please fix it.
A : No. That's your mistake for not telling the Giver in advance not to enter the working space.

A：You can give an accessory to the bonded Giver by left-clicking on the Giver and then right-clicking on the accessory.
