Expect a fully voiced single player mission. If you miss the old call of duty feels and yearn for HBO's BOB look no further.

The reason there's so many of them mods is simple: this is the first of a long series of missions I intend to do. I know plenty of you will whinge and man and its your right. That being said what's made for free shall be received for free. I am not spending dozens of hours doing this for clout but its my way to deal with some grief in my life at the moment. Enjoy!

Expect:

1. A one hour plus Single player mission
in the style of the old Call of Duties of Yore and Band of Brothers the HBO TV Show
2. It is fully voiced and animated with over a 100 voice lines
3. Challenging and hand holding you the entire time
4. Use your brain, your map and your compass
5. Expect follow up missions!



PLOT:

Your name is Eugene Connor - You are a Private First Class in Baker Company - 101st Airborne. You have successfully survived your drop over the skies of Normandy. Unfortunately things have not gone as planned for the airborne operation and most of the division (Able through Dog company) has been scattered all over Normandy. Despite the odds being stacked against you, the night turned out in your favor as you captured a strategic crossroad called Point Boston with the help of a small group of other lost paratroopers. The Germans are not gonna sit by and let you shut their supply lines ... Your mission is simple. Hold on to Point Boston until Allied Forces reach your position.

Dawn is about to break over the horizon but ammunition is running low and there's rumors of a new foe emerging from the bocage. Will you and the remainder of Baker company step up and survive? Your earlier escapades have seriously poked the hornet's nest.

TIPS:

Use your compass and your map and stick to the roads!
Take your time !
Full heals are available next to doctors.
Good luck trooper!




NOTE:

Please don't ask me to remake this with fewer mods - The amount of work required on my end is dozens upon dozens of hours spent for what is most probably some more download and HDD space on your end. Show a little bit of empathy in your comments here - Someone spent his own personal time and energy into doing this and offers it to you to enjoy.

@R. Gonzales - Thank you sir - I'm glad my many hours creating this are appreciating. Mission 4 is currently in development again and arguably my most ambitious one so far. Do give my SOG prairie Fire missions a try in the meantime!

@Dunklik that's why I said I don't have a scenario idea yet but to run through a campaign or long multiple-choice mission on a front line where you have to think carefully to resist or repel, make decisions about whether or not to rescue people, carry out reconnaissance in a light vehicle to get information, choose to respond to an SOS, etc. It would be like an adaptive mission, I don't know if it's really possible.
For the air, it's true that I personally don't find the AIs great but if you can manage it, I'll take it but I have no idea how to adapt a scenario based on an air patrol or squad. I think starting with land vehicles would be better but it's up to you of course.

@cyno I do want to make non-recurring "characters" appear in independent single mission. For example: In this mission who is this mystery tank ? Etc ... I've not tried vehicle missions yet but it is definitely on my mind to try. Plane missions would work great on PMC maps but I have to see how the AI planes react.

@Dunklik I will see to take SOG dlc if a -50% sales come. For the idea, I was thinking about 2 different. One in a tank squadron leader like in DLC Global Mobilization with open area, take decision, open eyes, respond to support requesting etc... or one telling about an aerian squadron where you will need to flight with following instruction, adapt yourself to the situation, making support, spying, refuel etc... I dont have a real scenario in my head but just can doing something with this base will make me happy and I know that with you it won't be a 30 min simple scenario like other. XD
I'm not rushing you, give us your creations and then we can talk about this idea when you will be available.

@MM Thank you kindly - There's more coming but i'm invested in SOG at the moment. Once completed I'll resume work on Mission 4 which is 40% complete.

@cyno Mon ami your comment is my reward. I'm working on mission 4 at the moment but it is a very slow process. If you have the chance trial my S.O.G Prairie fire mission released last month. It will follow the same level of Story telling and character building than this BOB series. Fire away your idea - I always like new source material for future development. You can check out my YT channel for updates on mission development.
