VAE Handwear and Footwear Addon

Description
Current Version - 2.2 (Version is only related to itself, and not the version compatibility with Core game.)
Version History can be found here - https://github.com/BunX1/Vanilla-Armour-Expanded-Handwear-and-Footwear-Addon/blob/main/Version%20History

New - I'm Back! taking a indefinite hiatus due to IRL stuff, just a major quick patch, fixed Trailing whitespace error, Cataphract Hp error and incorrect description formating

!!Hey! Before you try out this mod, I'd like to say that this is my first mod, and I'm not particularly Skilled modder or developer, This mod has been made for me and me only, and I've decided to share it for other people who might want these specific addons, so expect bugs, and rebalances. With That expect more some day!!

Many thanks to Halicade, Smash Phil and TheMoistestWhale, for the ungodly work they've done babysitting me my journey. Thanks a lot to them and the Community discord

Vanilla Armour Expanded Handwear and Footwear Addon is fan made modification/addon of base Vanilla Armour Expanded aiming to supply Handwear and Footwear to all armor sets which currently don't have one.

The added hand and footwear will be found in their own coresponding research categories, example: Recon Gloves and Boots can be found in Recon armor research.

Expect more hand and footwear, as well as possible rebalances, texture changes, and hopefully extended support for newer armours found in Vanilla Armour Expanded!

FAQ:
Q: Can I add this mid save?
A: I cannot provide a definitive answer yet, However I have not faced Issues adding it in, so make a back up just incase

Q: Compatibility?
A: The mod is compatible with version 1.4, and doesn't show any issues on 1.5 atleast for me, older versions should work up until 1.2 however I haven't took the time to test yet.

Q: Is this Compatible with *insert mod* mod?
A: This mod should be compatible with most mods, Please report Incompatibity on github or in their respective discussions. This mod is Majority just XML files, and I have not had issues running this mod.

Known Issues and major bugs:

- Cataphract Gloves and Boots may throw in errors during loading if Royalty isn't present, or on 1.5

- During crafting, Boots and gloves will be named according to *one* of the materials used, (Example, Plasteel Recon Gloves, since Recon gloves use Plasteel) Currently looking for solution.

- (Speculative) From my observation, sometimes Items with specific names dissappear after being crafted for no reason, wasting resources. Only speculative as this only happened once, however if you do find this to be happening, please report here. you may add them back using dev mode.

- Experimental Cataphract gloves serve no purpose right now.

Also feel free to tweak the XMLs to your liking!

Thanks for your work! This mod added something missing that had always bothered me a disproportionate amount. Enjoy your break!

[Update] as of 30th of June: I will be temporarily taking a break from modding, I have not done any significant progress due to some minor life stresses, I have not felt like drawing either.

For now, this project is on the backbone, anyone's free to continue where I left off with a reupload.

As for me, I am currently making a minor addon for Aelanna's Eccentric Tech - Fusion Power mod. Mostly for personal use, in regards to making Helium-3. When that's done, I'll move onto closing down some old projects of mine, and afterwards I may come back to finish what I started.

I owe atleast that much to the people here

@Eshminima I have not done any patching for CE, I have not tested CE compatibility, I never used CE and so I can't tell you as I don't know at all how it works. Best if you test for yourself, but don't count on it.

@NuanKi, I'm aware, I kept them in description specifically for players, athough I have debated taking out the entire codeline with the <!-- -->

@roc I recommend you test that yourself, I don't use SOS2 and I am not in the roots of it's code. It should be as compatible as it would be for vanilla items, but I'd recommend you test first

Dunno if this has been asked before but... Combat Extended?

you can keep the developer notes inside of the defs with <!-- (text) -->

Is it compatible with SOS2?

@DrKartoffelsalat, I definitely considered renaming this mod. Developer notes are there only for the unfinished items. Whenever my next update will be, I plan to redo all the recon armor and catapract armor textures, and look to add the siege breaker armor set. Plus get the built in shield function for energy gloves to actually work
