Offroad Go Brrr [B42 Compatible]

Description
This mod changes the behavior of vehicles offroad
With default settings Heavy-Duty vehicles become comfortable to drive offroad, Standard vehicles feel tolerable offroad and Sport cars might struggle a bit especially when towing offroad

Big news!
Apparently in one of the recent B42 updates TIS implemented what this mod tried to achieve. At the moment in vanilla game all vehicles with `offRoadEfficiency` parameter above 1.0 will perform offroad about as good as they would in B41 with this mod. This makes Offroad Go Brrr somewhat redundant in B42 though not all vanilla vehicles yet have this parameter set, so if you want the experience similar to what this mod give a try to its successor Vehicle Class Overhaul

Info
  • Can be added/removed to/from existing saves
  • Works in Multiplayer (thanks @Dukenukem64x for help with testing)
  • For more realistic feel change multipliers to 0.75 1.0 1.5 in Sandbox Options
  • Sandbox Options can be changed on the fly, no need to restart the server
  • It is possible to disable the effect for specific vehicle types via Sandbox Options
  • Hover the mouse over Sandbox Options input fields for detailed info in the tooltips

Notes
  • Should work well with everything
  • This is achieved through dynamic vehicle mass adjustment, in ideal world I'd implement it through horse power, but it is what it is (dynamically changing horse power only affects reversing)
  • Compatible with Effortless Towing
  • Thresholds are adjustable for the sake of it, normally you shouldn't need to change them
  • Code is optimized for performance, there should be little to no impact
  • Change Sandbox Options (by Star) can be used to adjust the values in the existing save

I also released Vehicle Tuner mod which allows to increase or decrease the core stats of all vehicles in each category by desired percent from the original values

If you ever felt that vanilla reversing is too strong, check this mod Reversing Rebalance

Check my other mods, maybe you'd like some of them

support is welcome[ko-fi.com]

Modpacking or reuploading is not allowed as long as the original version is present.

@reanimated6 try it alone first and then decide if you want to add this mod on top of it. The recommended values are in descriptions of both mods

<3 I allready started a game with OffRoadGoesBrrrr and I'm thinking of adding Vehicle Class Overhaul to midgame save. I know you say that they are compatible but I'm just worried I'll drive 100000 mph on grass if I do. I'd like for it to stay "realistic" but not like driving on grass is equal to driving at the bottom of the ocean. Could you specify what to expect when adding both OffRoadGoesBrrr and Vehicle Class Overhaul at stock values will be like? =)

@Wilburt you can have both if you want, but it might feel too strong. Luckily both mods can be safely added and removed mid run.
