Description
Capture Discs: Post-Game Add-On

Capture Discs: Post-Game Add-On is an offical add-on for Capture Disc Class. As such, you must have the mod enabled for this one to work! Furthermore, this mod's content cannot be accessed without using one of the supported content mods (See below for more details)!

This mod adds post-ML support for the Capture class in the form of 3 new tiers of Capture gear, allowing the class to more viably take on post-ML content from other mods.

New Gear:
  • Guardian, Celestial, and Genesteel equipment sets
  • Each set includes a respective crafting material, armor set, accessory upgrade, and two weapons

(IMPORTANT!) Mod Support!:
Be aware that the crafting materials for the new content are unobtainable without help from other content mods! Instead, they must be crafted from certain materials from supported mods; this is done to effectivley place the new content into other mods' post-ML progression.
Supported mods, and what tiers of gear they support, are as follows;
  • Thorium: Guardian
  • Calamity: Guardian, Celestial, Genesteel
  • Fargo's Souls: Guardian, Celestial, Genesteel
  • The Story of Red Cloud: Guardian, Celestial
  • Echoes of the Ancients: Guardian, Celestial
  • Homeward Journey: Guardian, Celestial, Genesteel
Additionally, the Mod of Redemption is a unique exception; it is given partial support for the Guardian tier, allowing access to its weapons and accessory, but not the armor set.

Regarding balancing:
Because of how the mod is designed to work with multiple mods at once, its balancing may be very dubious since all mods tend to follow their own balancing post-ML.

Open Source and Unofficial Add-Ons:
  • This mod is open-source under the GNU GPLv3 license. In short, you’re allowed to view and utilize code from the source if you’d like, but if you want to publish any work you did with it, that project will have to use the same license (GNU GPLv3). The mod's LICENSE file contains the full details of terms and conditions, etc.
  • You can access the source-code using tML's extract function (Found in-game on the mod's More Info page in your Mods List).
  • Know that unofficial add-ons are welcome! For example, even though this mod exists, add-ons which add support for a particular content mod are still useful since they will be more in tune with that mod's balancing.

Localization:
This mod inherently supports the English language, though I am unable to provide any other languages since that's the only one I'm fluent in. However, localization contributions on GitHub are welcomed and appreciated. Below is a list of supported languages so far:
  • English (Base)
  • Simplified Chinese (Contributed by shrinkviolet77)
If you desire to contribute localization, please make a PR in the GitHub repository for my mods' .tmod files[github.com].

@meihed, I figured that was the case but I felt like answering anyways lol.

I'm glad you're excited for whatever I make next! That said, it'll probably be a while until then, since I wanna try and make some wikis for my content mods before I tackle another new mod.

@meihed, I dunno if I'd really count the Capture Disc Class as a Pokemon themed mod, since it's based on a spin-off series rather than the mainstream games (Which play very differently from eachother).
Aside from some references, the only thing the mod really takes from Ranger is the disc mechanics, leaving the Pokemon aspect of those games basically untouched.

Anyways, to answer your question/speculation, while I do like the LoZ series I don't have any plans for a mod inspired by any of its games/content/mechanics.

@Tinella Nosa, it's for the Adventure Mode, actually; in case you want to play Thrower for whatever the reason may be. You can access all the materials needed for the Guardian and Nihilshade items in the adventure map.

@Cotyora, no, that's the point of how the mod works; the equipment tiers made available are based on what mods you have active. Gear that would be too OP for a given mod won't be made available by having said mod (This is why Thorium doesn't enable the Celestial or Genesteel sets).

Just wondered if I can atleast acquire all of them, plus will you be making ALL the other armors to Thorium which are not in craft list?
