Assault Weapons Pack - Expanded Ammos - Vanilla+ (Update Dec 13 '24)

Description
This is a submod for Harbringer Ace's excellent Assault Weapons Pack. This is made with his blessing and endorsement; all assets used from Base AWP are used with permission.
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2111400196

For this mod to function properly, it must be loaded above Assualt Weapons Pack in the world's mod load order.

Vanilla+ Scripts are required for bonus damages, APHE fixes, proximity logics, and guidance.

All cannons 150mm and larger now have access to 4 additional ammos for a total of 5. The weapon auto pulling ammo for a certain type can be selected at the bottom of a weapon's K menu.

Ammo types:

HE: The standard ammo from base AWP

AP: Deals penetration damage similar to vanilla artillery, but with bonus damage against armor blocks.

APHE: A mix of AP and HE ammos, dealing explosive damage after the penetration is stopped.

Flak: Explosive ammo that detonates when an enemy grid is within range and launches a spray of shrapnel in the target's direction. Will not detonate in response to enemy shots.

Smart: Expensive course correcting ammo that can track a dodging target. Less damage than standard HE. Not a heat seeking missile.

All ammos are labeled and available in the assembler for survival.

Balance is tenuous. Please comment if one type of ammo seems to over or under perform

Special thanks:
Nerd e1, for creating the Vanilla+ framework and his support while I developed this mod using this framework.
Harbinger Ace: massive thanks to Ace for helping figure out how to mod SE. And his permission to create this addon to his mod

Not sure what is happening, but the ability to switch ammo is constantly disappearing from the K menu. I originally thought it was because I had conflicting mod but that later turned out not to be the case cause I loaded a world up that havent had any mods added and it still disappeared

I also made sure the mod is loaded before the main mod and it is so I dont think thats the issue either. Worse part is that everything else about this mod is working.

Its just the ui menu and also the hotkey binding to switch ammo type is disappearing after I reload the world back up. Essentially the only way I could have the ammo work is if I managed to have them switched to the proper ammo type before the option deletes itself

Hi, all ammo for this mod seems to have a blanket deflection angle of 30 degrees according to build info.
It also shows the ratio between their deflection and full damage to be less than the vanilla artillery turret.
I.E, artillery turret has 7000 deflection damage to its 17000 full penetration damage, compared to the 6800 and 54000 damage of the 1500mm AP shell.

Is this intended?

@jperk354 YO this is an incredible addition to what i consider one if not the best weapon pack on the workshop, however with Harbinger Ace's blessing i have forked AWP to mostly increase the range of the weapons and turrets, and i would like to do the same for this addon for it, whether you allow me to or not, thanks for your time and effort, if you do, all credits will naturally be given

to be clear i meant that this mod is also used on the server
Nes-AliTheAvali [GUC] 31 Mar @ 9:08pm
this mod is also used and it seems it overrides the 220mm when i try to add it and as i said earlier i will likely need to re-balance other ammo types and calibers later.
jperk354  [author] 31 Mar @ 8:33pm
OK, as this mod doesn't interact with the 220mm, I don't think creating a branch of this would be necessary or accomplish what you need.
Nes-AliTheAvali [GUC] 31 Mar @ 5:16pm
its a new 220mm missile but i may need to add more later as well as balancing
jperk354  [author] 31 Mar @ 5:00pm
What are you trying to add?
