Description
This mod adds a new recruitable unit to XCOMs alien roster:

  • For the base cost of 60 supplies, the Grineer are more durable and tougher than regular soldiers, sporting 5 more aim (base 70) than your base rookies and 15 defense (20 on lower difficulties), as well as an increased will score (about 5 points higher). To make up for it, they take 50% more damage from Acid, due to their armor's weakness to corrosive materials.

Don't forget to go to Options > Gameplay and set the slider for the WarframeGrineer to the minimum so that humans don't generate using Max's cosmetics.

Requirements
Obviously Allies Unknown Redux is required to be able to recruit the Grineer to your forces.

Mitzruti's Perk Pack is required for the base damage vulnerabilities perk used by this mod to create the Grineer's acid vulnerability.

To be able to see the Grineer, you'll need Max's Warframe Grineer Armory, as all of the cometics are from his mod.

Cosmetic Options
Unlike when they were first released, now the Grineer have full customization available, being capable of wearing any cosmetc from any mod you might have. Is this necessary? No, but it was a such a headache otherwise, between the missing invisible parts so you couldn't deselect decorations and that the Heavy Gunner for women is split between arms and torso while the other cosmetics are one-piece torsos.
Existing Grineer should not be negatively affected by this update--they'll get the full customization menu, but their current cosmetics should remain unchanged.

Thanks to Max for allowing me to port his amazing Grineer cosmetics for this mod.

All credits for the custom acid vulnerability go to Mitzruti. The coding of the ability is handled entirely by Mitzruti's Perk Pack, making it so that I didn't have to figure out how to code increased damage from acid from scratch.

is there a way to only the grineer spawn with the armor because almost every soldier i unlock throughout the campaign are wearing there big bulky armor its not that big a deal its just constintly happening

@Grimjaw I have plans of making raider factions yes, though I would start with the Corpus. The issue is I know nothing about creating custom enemies so the ETA is very much non-existent.
