This is the Compatibility Patch for More Holding Graphics and Battle Graphics.

⚠️ Please read the following mod loading order instructions carefully. It's very important to use the correct mod loading order or you may encounter bugs!


  1. other mods (optional)
  2. Regional Immersion and Cultural Enrichtment [RICE] (optional)
  3. Community Flavor Pack [CFP] (optional)
  4. More Holding graphics (REQUIRED if you use this comp. patch)
  5. Ethnicities & Portraits Expanded [EPE] (optional - only required if you use CE)
  6. MHG + EPE (optional - only required if you use EPE)
  7. MHG + CFP (optional - only required if you use CFP)
  8. CFP + EPE Compatibility Patch (optional - only required if you use CFP and EPE together)
  9. Culture Expanded [CE] (optional)
  10. MHG + CE (optional - only required if you use CE)
  11. RICE + EPE Compatibility Patch (only required if you use RICE => this mod also provides more functionality for RICE and BG)
  12. MHG + RICE + EPE Compatch (only required if you use RICE)
  13. Battle Graphics [BG] (REQUIRED if you use this comp. patch)
  14. Battle Graphics More Holding Graphics Compatibility (= this mod)
  15. Battle Graphics EPE Compatibility (optional - only required if you want use EPE)
  16. Battle Graphics Redux Compatibility Patch (optional - only required if you want use a mod that does require this comp. patch check Compatibility list)

⚠️ Please note that this mod is primarily making Battle Graphics compatible with More Holding Graphics (MHG). As soon as you use EPE this mod becomes less important because those mods do have their own compatibility patch (point 6. EPE + MHG) and that comp. patch together with the culture files of EPE will take priority. So as long as EPE + MHG comp. patch or built-in compatibility between those two mods is provided, it's going to work out fine. But if the comp. patch for EPE + MHG is outdated or both mods are incompatible, then this comp. patch for MHG + BG won't solve any potential compatibility issues between MHG + EPE.

however, that said, i can't rule out that some files might be added to BG MHG Compatch in the future that might not be included into the BG EPE Compatch and then BG MHG Compatch shouldn't be disabled or removed from the mod list. in addition to that it's important to use the right mod loading order or the wrong compatch or mod might take priority.

so long story short: technically speaking you could remove/diable BG MHG Compatch if you use the BG EPE Compatch by loading it after BG MHG Compatch. however, i would still recommend to keep it in the mod loading order and playlist like stated above because some files might be added in the future which would make it necessary to use both mods together again. i hope this does help :)

regarding the MHG + Rice + EPE Compatch => true i forgot to add it to the loading order instructions. i just did it now.

regarding your question about when to use this compatch: right now if you are using BG EPE Compatch and if you put it after BG MHG Compatch (just like described within the mod loading order instructions), then BG EPE Compatch will overwrite BG MHG Compatch which will make BG MHG Compatch unnecessary indeed because both compatches are including the same files.

Sorry i don't quite understand your final note, it's this compatch necessary if i use the MHG + EPE Compatch ? also you forgot to add the MHG + RICE + EPE Compatch in your loading order list

the following mods have just been updated for CK 1.15 update, which just released:
1. Battle Graphics (main mod)
2. BG Other Graphics: Zoom Scale Map
3. BG Other Graphics: Battleground Commanders
4. Battle Graphics MHG Compatibility Patch

this covers the main mod + all submods + 1 comp. patch (for MHG). the remaining comp. patches for BG + other mods (i.e. AGOT, EPE MB+, EPE, POD, Shogunate will be updated as soon as those mods that they have been built for have been updated too
