Description
I'm still too lazy to make a cover image, so i just used a simple cover instead for now.

So, this mod can also be called "Grenadier Mode Lite", as it's much simpler than my Grenadier Mode mod. While "Grenadier Mode" uses virtual inventory to store grenade data, this one doesn't. & when "Grenadier Mode" can stock all types of grenade, this one can only stock one type of grenade (the video preview that I'll add later will show the details).

Here's the list of features available on "grenade stack.txt" cfg file:
  1. Grenade Stack Mode: This controls the mode when picking a grenade of the same type (Mode 1= grenade of the same type acts like ammo piles that you can stack infinitely. Mode 2= grenade of the same type is removed when you pick it)
  2. Pipe Bomb Stack Limit: How many pipe bombs can be stacked. Min= 1. Max= 10.
  3. Molotov Stack Limit: How many molotovs can be stacked. Min= 1. Max= 10.
  4. Vomitjar Stack Limit: How many bile bombs can be stacked. Min= 1. Max= 10.

With this mod, you can collect grenades of the same type effectively without, & freely set how many grenades of the same type you can carry.

NOTES:
  • A video preview will be added later.
  • A known bug: Picking a grenade of different type might (or might not) reset the grenade count when you pick the dropped grenade again. It's still unconfirmed yet as it still needs more tests.
  • This mod might cause a bug (most likely a beneficial bug) if used together with "Grenadier Mode", so it's better to choose only one of them.

sorry for disturbing where do you actually modify the amount of grenades in the cfg?

@Kouga , the difficulty level will be like this, from hard to easy:
UI/ HUD > Instructor Hints > Chat Notification
Using either chat notif or hints is still not difficult, but generating UI/ HUD will need to configure several things, including the UI position on screen, & methods to turn on/ off.

thats interesting actually :00 im assuming that its also hard to change the ui for the weapon panel to accurately just show the amount of items you have?

@Kouga , "Paramedic Survivors" uses "Grenadier Mode" as the base of the mod, while this mod uses a different base, so that's why the way to show notification is different. & notifications via chats are way simpler to make than via instructor/ game hints.

Oh! another thing, I noticed that in Paramedic Survivors the inventory number is shown as a tooltip but for Grenade Stack its in chat...why is that?

@kurochama, thank you for directing me to your Paramedic Survivors mod. It looks like you figured out how to make it work! Maybe something like that would be great but you can only stack identical items :D

@Kouga , consumables like medkits, pills etc have different mechanisms from throwables. For throwables, ammo still counts so only increasing the number of ammo will be enough. However, for consumables, they disappear after usage no matter how much ammo is modified, so the only way I found to trick it is by using "virtual inventory" like that on "Paramedic Survivors", but instead of picking them manually, items from virtual inventory will be automatically picked when finishing using consumables.
