Description
This mod was made for personal use and private for a year, but I decided I'd make it public in case anyone would like to use it.
If you would like to use the original version of the mod, then consider subscribing to the Legacy version of the mod which uses Simple Spawn Swapper instead of changing world files!
Just be aware that it may have issues and I no longer plan on supporting it.

Adds a ton of brand new world spawns to make nearly every creature in the game discoverable on the map regardless of campaign or lineage, as well as in an attempt to make a hopefully reasonable and more diversified ecosystem.
It also slightly edits some rooms of the Vanilla/Downpour regions as well, such as adding mud pits or Watcher exclusive foods and music triggers.

For more information, read the pinned discussion tab.

HEY THERE SLUGCAT!
Are you tired of true randomizers being too unfair?
Do you want more creature variety, but still want the balance of your respective campaign?
Do you want your save file to have nearly every creature present on your game map?
Do you want to eat Pomegranates and play in puddles of mud with your Slugpups?
Do you want to fight fifty Scavenger Disciples as Artificer?
Do you want to see more Moths beat up Vultures?

Well you are in luck!
Introducing, Screen Lady's Diverse Spawns!

This mod populates more of the DLC creatures across various regions to diversify the ecosystem!
You may see a Miros Vulture in Underhang, a Sky Whale in Sky Islands, a Moth hunting Lizards, or even a rather unfortunate Lizard affected by the local Iterators dumping into Garbage Wastes.
This is constantly being balanced, so you won't have to worry about a million apex creatures crawling across your maps! If anything, you'll see many more that are lower on the food chain being chased by the predators!

Disclaimer:
- Spoiler creatures from The Watcher will spawn!
- Spawns may not be entirely lore friendly. (Mainly with Rot related things.)
- True apex predators may have rare populations.
- This mod does edit some rooms to add music triggers, foods, or mud pits.
- All screenshots shown on this mod page are possible spawns with this mod installed.

To do:
- Possibly add a more Watcher Music triggers in fitting regions / music deficient areas?
- See if it is possible to make a config file for each creatures spawns?
- Possibly hide a King Scavenger somewhere, if it is feasible.

Known Issues:
- If loading the mod on an existing save, the game may white screen.
This hasn't happened in a while so it's probably fixed.
- Some Watcher creatures don't seem to have score values (???) causing certain character statistic screens to softlock.
Your game still saves, you just need to restart it to get your endings. Using a patched Score Galore fixes this problem entirely.
- Loaches may "freeze" the room if killed by a Monster Kelp or Leviathan.
This is not a true freeze and you can still move through the room, though visual effects, weapons, and creatures might appear frozen. Refreshing the room fixes it entirely.
- Loaches are a little silly and try to eat Leeches despite not being able to eat them.
They're just silly chubby guys.
- While I tried my best not to replace any spawns, there may be a few I missed.
If you think a creature is missing then tell me what room and I will fix it asap!

Mod Incompatabilities:
- If Lizard Customizer is installed alongside this mod, broken Watcher lizards may spawn that freeze the game.
This is an issue with Lizard Customizer interacting with the DLC weirdly atm.
- Mods that add extra rot to GW_E01 will crash the game.
This is because the game cannot handle Rattlers dying to Protolonglegs. Disable any mods that may cause these changes if the issue occurs.
- Mods that affect Barnacles may crash the game.
The most common cause for this is Emerald's Tweaks, however other mods can cause this issue too- most often if they touch the shell breaking code. Disable any mods that may cause these changes if the issue occurs or use Keep That Away From Me to blacklist them until those mods are fixed.
- Mods that edit rooms may conflict with the mod.
The issues here are minimal, but it may result in missing Foods/Mudpits/Creatures depending on which room it is, as some are placed through map spawners rather than dens. But this shouldn't cause any crashes.

LIKE WITH ANY WORLD EDITING MOD, I RECOMMEND STARTING A NEW CAMPAIGN FOR MOST OF THE CHANGES TO APPLY.
Newly added creature spawns may not appear on older save files. If you are noticing this problem, it is recommended to restart the campaign.

If you encounter any issues please tell me what campaign you were on, and what room you were in.
An exception log is also appreciated if possible.

they really said whale party at broadcast tower lmao

Oh dear, that's odd that all three spawned in the same room. They don't have a "specific" room they spawn in, as they are offscreen dens. It sounds like they all just really wanted to flock there for some reason, usually they all spread out across the region in different rooms.
I'll look into seeing why they wanted to crowd there.

regarding sky islands comment below: rivulet campaign btw

suggesting a revision to the three whale spawns on the room immediately beneath the broadcast tower pearl in sky islands. i had all three spawn in there at once and get stuck in the poles you have to jump between to get to the upwards pipe, making traversal impossible and also causing dramatic screen shakes. it was very funny but maybe too buggy for optimal balancing

Noted then. I moved two issues to a new tab in the description and added this as a warning for it.

It's not just Emerald Tweaks, is the thing! It seems to be any mod that affects barnacle shell code, and I know of at least three of those, so might be worth telling players to beware barnacle mods for now. I'm still using Emerald myself, just with barnacle spawns disabled until their bug is fixed.

I may add mods such as Emeralds Tweaks to an incompatible section just due to the barnacles bug it causes, but at the end of the day its more of a Watcher conflict than anything on my end. I'll note it down until its fixed however.

Really enjoying playing with your mod so far, thank you ^^ this is the only mod I've found that just very simply adds a train lizard somewhere without overwhelming anything else, AND all the watcher creatures?? yes please!!

Suggesting to add a note to Known Issues stating that mods affecting how barnacles lose their shells can cause freezes and other problems! I was getting a reliable freeze when on screen with a barnacle that I initially mistakenly attributed to your mod before I did more testing, after which I found that Bomb Barnacles was responsible. I then saw in your bug forum that Emerald Tweaks has caused issues with this too, likely because of the selectable barnacle breaking option (causes freeze when throwing things at barnacles even with this option disabled), so this seems like a wide ranging thing that might be worth warning of.

Thank you! I tried my best to make them feel vanilla-ish and balanced.
