no it was a joke, also they remade the parasite and now its like a blob thing

oddly enough parasitizing a moth makes it not like you very much
Screen Lady  [author] 23 hours ago
This mod doesn't really touch AI in any way, so that's out of my control. It's probably due to whatever code the creator is using on the Parasite, maybe the Spider legs it use has the Moths recognize it as a Spider?
Their hunt value for that is 0.4 so it's possible.

the moths love harassing the parasite from not slugcats playables
Spontaneite 31 Jul @ 4:52am
thank you!! would love to see more rat <3 and will search for some more
Screen Lady  [author] 30 Jul @ 11:35am
The Rats like to stay in very cramped pipeworks and dark areas! You will mostly find them around VS_F02, VS_E02, VS_D04, ect. if you are in Pipeyard.

For areas like Chimney Canopy, they are basically exclusive to The Gutter sub region.

I believe in Garbage Wastes they are towards the Shaded Citadel gate, and for Metropolis they are in the tight pipeworks of the House of Braids.
I can see about adding more Rats to Garbage Wastes in general though.
Spontaneite 30 Jul @ 6:02am
Are there specific places I should be looking for rats? I've been around rather a lot of garbo and didn't see a single one, and spent a decent amount of time in pipeyards too, without seeing any. Rats beloved. I would love to see more Rat
Spontaneite 21 Jul @ 3:16pm
they really said whale party at broadcast tower lmao
Screen Lady  [author] 21 Jul @ 3:13pm
Oh dear, that's odd that all three spawned in the same room. They don't have a "specific" room they spawn in, as they are offscreen dens. It sounds like they all just really wanted to flock there for some reason, usually they all spread out across the region in different rooms.
I'll look into seeing why they wanted to crowd there.
Spontaneite 21 Jul @ 3:11pm
regarding sky islands comment below: rivulet campaign btw
Spontaneite 21 Jul @ 3:10pm
suggesting a revision to the three whale spawns on the room immediately beneath the broadcast tower pearl in sky islands. i had all three spawn in there at once and get stuck in the poles you have to jump between to get to the upwards pipe, making traversal impossible and also causing dramatic screen shakes. it was very funny but maybe too buggy for optimal balancing
Screen Lady  [author] 20 Jul @ 1:09pm
Noted then. I moved two issues to a new tab in the description and added this as a warning for it.
Spontaneite 20 Jul @ 1:03pm
It's not just Emerald Tweaks, is the thing! It seems to be any mod that affects barnacle shell code, and I know of at least three of those, so might be worth telling players to beware barnacle mods for now. I'm still using Emerald myself, just with barnacle spawns disabled until their bug is fixed.
Screen Lady  [author] 20 Jul @ 12:42pm
I may add mods such as Emeralds Tweaks to an incompatible section just due to the barnacles bug it causes, but at the end of the day its more of a Watcher conflict than anything on my end. I'll note it down until its fixed however.
Spontaneite 20 Jul @ 8:29am
Really enjoying playing with your mod so far, thank you ^^ this is the only mod I've found that just very simply adds a train lizard somewhere without overwhelming anything else, AND all the watcher creatures?? yes please!!
Spontaneite 20 Jul @ 8:29am
Suggesting to add a note to Known Issues stating that mods affecting how barnacles lose their shells can cause freezes and other problems! I was getting a reliable freeze when on screen with a barnacle that I initially mistakenly attributed to your mod before I did more testing, after which I found that Bomb Barnacles was responsible. I then saw in your bug forum that Emerald Tweaks has caused issues with this too, likely because of the selectable barnacle breaking option (causes freeze when throwing things at barnacles even with this option disabled), so this seems like a wide ranging thing that might be worth warning of.
Screen Lady  [author] 19 Jul @ 1:30pm
Thank you! I tried my best to make them feel vanilla-ish and balanced.
modthesillyguy 19 Jul @ 3:52am
tbh, i dunno if i wanna change em now, these spawns are peak
Screen Lady  [author] 18 Jul @ 1:19pm
World spawns are determined when a region is loaded. If you want to reset them, then you can go to Rain World\RainWorld_Data\StreamingAssets and create a .txt file named setup , write clean spawns:1 inside of it and save the file. This should reset each region you visit and get rid of the spawns as long as the mod is no longer installed (if the spawns are lingering after uninstalling.)
Just remember to delete the txt file after you reset all of your regions, otherwise it will continue to reset them constantly which might mess with tamed lizards outside of shelters or instantly respawn creatures killed.
modthesillyguy 18 Jul @ 4:43am
is my file safe or will the spawns stay if i turn it off.. someone hlep.
Lynamae 30 Jun @ 11:58am
do they all try to kill you not adding yeek?
Tooth and Claw 30 Jun @ 8:56am
I just realized it isn't possible because it isn't a world txt thing
Screen Lady  [author] 29 Jun @ 5:02pm
This mod doesn't plan to edit anything about creature AI or properties, sorry.
Box Worms are placed far away from worm grass unless something else manages to move them, but Fire Sprites are out of my control on where they decide to "perch".
Tooth and Claw 29 Jun @ 2:05pm
could you make the fire sprites and box worms have the tentacle immune tag because they constantly die to worm grass
Lynamae 20 Jun @ 2:35pm
oh okay well thanks for telling me!
Screen Lady  [author] 20 Jun @ 1:51pm
It's intentional, you can see which of the DLC creatures this mod adds spawns for and where they are located here .
Lynamae 20 Jun @ 1:45pm
oh okay! thanks for telling me
btw some of them are spawing in farm arrays even the crab from watcher lol
Screen Lady  [author] 19 Jun @ 3:11pm
Oh you mean Indigo lizards! Then yes this mod adds more spawns for them, but they're from Watcher specifically. I didn't make the whole lizard itself.
Lynamae 19 Jun @ 3:10pm
yeah cause it was in farm arrays
Lynamae 19 Jun @ 3:09pm
i have downpour and watcher gamepass
Lynamae 19 Jun @ 3:08pm
no its the one from this mod
Screen Lady  [author] 19 Jun @ 2:49pm
Oh, blue and black lizards are base game creatures. This mod doesn't really touch them much, it mostly focuses on Downpour and Watcher creatures.
Lynamae 19 Jun @ 2:27pm
honesty i have not seen them a single time because i just activated mod yesterday
Lynamae 19 Jun @ 2:26pm
but i did find two more
Lynamae 19 Jun @ 2:26pm
it was a blue and black lisard
Screen Lady  [author] 19 Jun @ 1:12pm
Is what supposed to die? What did you find two of?
Lynamae 19 Jun @ 1:08pm
i already found two but i did not see one for five seconds because it died and the other one too P.S it happened five mins ago lol. So i had the question are they soposed to die?
TheDestroyer 18 May @ 4:00am
i just saw that you replied (to the mud thing) on the suggestions tab its fine don't worry :D
TheDestroyer 18 May @ 3:59am
I think we do need some creatures in the spearmaster/western intake area just nothing too dangerous and i think the western intake is a bit empty (without the mod) and could use some passive or not super dangerous creatures

Also could you add a bit more mud to garbage wastes possible replace some of the long open rooms with water in on the surface with big mud pits instead (if possible i don't know much about level editing) as there don't seem to be enough mud there
Screen Lady  [author] 17 May @ 3:37pm
Mud can be found in Garbage Wastes, Outer Expanse (Sunken Pier), and the cave sections of Pipeyard.

There is no Mud for Saint it's all frozen up or something I don't know and is less common in Spearmaster/Artificers past Garbage Wastes as well.

The Eggbug technically spawns in one of the Spearmaster starting rooms, it just likes to sometimes run out sometimes. Can't really control where it chooses to go without affecting all other Eggbugs in the region. I'll think about moving it though.
TheDestroyer 17 May @ 12:50pm
Where are the mud pits?

If not already i would reccomed adding mud to garbage wastes and possibley indigo lizards (i have not tried the mod yet and will try it later)

can you (as long as it looks good and is possible) replace some of the water in garbage wastes with mud pits and possibly lowering the mud level?
Screen Lady  [author] 12 May @ 7:34pm
With game balance in mind, and some map edits as well!
Otherwise things like mud and pomegranates would not be possible.
Potato 12 May @ 7:21pm
So its like a randomizer, but way less chaotic, i like it, cool idea.
DinoSong 11 May @ 7:20pm
cool :rwlizard:
Screen Lady  [author] 5 May @ 3:43pm
It does not unfortunately. Iirc Slugcat npcs don't know how to come out of dens I think, so even if I did try to spawn some they'd never spawn since they normally just place themselves in random shelters.
I'm not sure how Gourmands ending handles theirs but they are probably pre-placed too. I don't think it is something I'll add anytime soon.
keymashed 5 May @ 3:31pm
does this add naturally spawning slug npcs :rwslugcat:
Screen Lady  [author] 5 May @ 11:13am
None for Indigo Lizards, no. I do have networks for the Sand Worms though.
Indigo Lizards might as well just be playing splatoon, pfft.
riley_ 5 May @ 11:07am
oh that's cool
did you add any of the terrain handle objects for the snakes and indigo lizards to use?
Screen Lady  [author] 5 May @ 11:03am
Oh yeah I get you. This mod started in November of last year to do that same thing, though it relied on Simple Spawn swapper a lot too. I finally ditched it and it's all completely reliant on world spawns and room edits now.

It's been fun to put stuff like the Sand Worms and mud puddles in regions, I even have a whole Watcher music trigger in Rivulet's Memory Crypts to intensify the Rot Lizard section, hah!
riley_ 5 May @ 11:01am
i was actually thinking of making something like this for downpour back before watcher was even announced, but it wound up being too tedious for me
Screen Lady  [author] 5 May @ 10:59am
Hah! Go on ahead, I don't mind!
