Description
Herald's Start Positions - Morghur in Bretonnia is a small lua script start position mod which moves Morghur the Shadowgave from Estalia to Bastonne in Bretonnia, aligning more closely with his lore, which is primarily connected to Athel Loren and Bretonnia.

This mod was developed alongside HSP - Alberic in Bretonnia and HSP - Athel Loren, to provide greater faction variety in and around Bretonnia.

The main changes of this mod are the following:

- Morghur starts the campaign in Bastonne in Bretonnia, at war with the Bretonnian minor faction of Bastonne;
- Morghur is no longer at war with Estalia, his original starting enemy.

I recommend using this mod alongside Herald's Start Positions - Alberic in Bretonnia, bringing back Alberic to Bordeleaux from Bregonne in Lustria, and Herald's Start Positions - Athel Loren, adjusting the starting enemies of factions in and around Athel Loren, and introducing a minor Ogre faction in the area.

I also recommend using these mods together with other Herald's Start Positions mods, and my mods in general, as they are all being developed in conjunction.

This mod is fully compatible with Mixu's Unlocker and Immortal Empires Expanded. It was not developed keeping any new faction mods in mind.

Herald's Start Positions mod series should work with mods like SFO: Grimhammer III, which rebalance different aspects of the game, but generally do not touch the start positions of the factions.

Credits go to Porkenstein and Swissbob for the script framework which I'm using across my start position lua script mods, and to nopeace.net for the map I used to show the territorial changes in Bretonnia.

@modmodmod It was an outdated character identification method that I used in my scripts back then (I used just a string instead of a variable definition loop that results in a character identification that is always accurate), it was fixed and updated in both this mod and the compilation now.

Please let me know if you encounter any other bugs, and I invite you to my Discord server :)

Morghur is still in Estalia.
Only Morghur's hero has moved to Bretonnia.
I was suspicious that it was due to the influence of other mods, so I tested it with only your mod collection + mixu unlocker subscription, and the result was the same.

@Plague Destroyer

No problem, I'm sorry if they haven't been the answers you were wishing for, but I have trouble finding the time and motivation to make the changes I want myself as well. :)

Please join my Discord server so I can help you in detail.

Herald - yes, please help, I will be very happy about it!) I learned how to add or remove cities through Pack File Manager, through scripts, set up a system of relations (war or trade relations, vassals, or alliances). But I can’t figure out where to get the faction numbers and coordinates of the starting positions of lords and heroes on the company map.

For example:

cm:teleport_to("faction:wh3_dlc24_ksl_daughters_of_the_forest,forename:853696293", 843, 765, true);
cm:teleport_to("faction:wh3_dlc24_ksl_daughters_of_the_forest,forename:600725776", 836, 775, true);
