Description
Allows partial functionality of energy shields from Borderlands 2 Random Shields to work with player mechs.

Only supports those shields and the standard mech, XS mechs vehicle edition or other vehicles not supported. (Doesn't break anything btw)
Other mech mods should work fine.

Requires Mech Core.

What it does:
  • When the player has a BL2 shield equipped, the mech gains it's base stats multiplied by a value.
  • The value depends on the relative strength of normal monsters to space monsters.
  • Recharge delay doubled for mech shields, to compensate.
  • The blue box in the screenshots only appears when recharging.
  • The mech will not receive damage until the shield is depleted.
  • Visual and audio cues for: damage taken, recharging, depleted and full.
  • Limited functionality of shield abilities, the mech passes damage to the player to activate abilities, but some do not work:
    • Amp: The mech's damage dealt does not trigger amp effects.
    • Roid: Same as Amp.
    • Turtle: Mech health is not lowered.
    • Adaptives: Health is not increased nor does elemental resistance.
    • Booster: Only regen the player's shield.
    • Specific uniques do not work either.

Notes
  • NPC Mechs supported (when it becomes availabe), they use the shields located in the "crew" section of the interface, just like normal crew.

Uninstalling:
Can be freely uninstalled.

They damage my health instead of the mech health when the shield is destroyed, I'm not safe in that mech!

After the the shield is depleted,enemies directly damage player's health instead of mech，could you fix it？

It does work with the titanfall mechs, atleast, I do use it without problems.
