Interactable Cursor

Description
Check out the original mod! https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3210660797

Adds a little cursor that changes when hovering over interactables. Has many options, so choose which one you like! :]

If you want the image files used in this mod, to use for your own projects or whatever you will, you can get them >>> HERE[drive.google.com] <<< V.1.3. Just please don't try and use them commercially, that's where I draw the line, otherwise you're good. (Also crediting me is optional, but it'd be cool. Just as long as you don't try to take credit for yourself, I will find you if you do.)

DISCLAIMER: INPUT DELAY
This renders the cursor at the game's framerate, this means it'll be a tad bit slower than your actual system cursor. There's no other way around this, so it is what it is.
And i also have NO idea how this functions with controllers, if at all.
Every time someone mentions input delay without reading this, i'll make it even more noticeable. Don't try me, i'll do it!

Currently it has 6 unique options to choose from:
- A curly and pointy cursor, styled like Don't Starve's artstyle. ("Curly" In-Game)

- A smooth chiseled cursor. The yang to curly's yin. ("Marbly" In-Game)

- An icy glacier of a cursor. ("Icy" In-Game)

- A shadowy hand, from Klei's Metheus Puzzles sites. ("Metheus Puzzle" In-Game)

- A spooky scary skeleton hand. ("Skeleton Hand" In-Game)

- A cute meow meow cat paw. ("Cat Paw" In-Game)

- A mushy mushroom to get funky with. ("Mushy" In-Game)

- A shard from the moon... or something else. ("Glassy" In-Game)

- A mysterious shadow hand. From something, or rather, someone... ("Shadow Hand" In-Game)

Plus one for each character in-game! (Modded Characters sold separetely.)
- Maxwell's shadowy claw-like hands. ("Maxwell Hand" In-Game)
- Willow's ashen hands. ("Willow Hand" In-Game)
- Wickerbottom's old and wisened hands. ("Wickerbottom Hand" In-Game)
- Wigfrid's battle-ready hands. ("Wigfrid Hand" In-Game)
- Warly's cuisine making hands. ("Warly Hand" In-Game)
- Wes's pathetic, little balloon-blowing, spineless, stupid coward hands. ("Wes Hand" In-Game)
- Wanda's fluctuating timey-wimey hands. ("Wanda Hand" In-Game)
- Wolfgang's mighty heavy hands. ("Wolfgang Hand" In-Game)
- Wormwood's lonesome leaf hands. ("Wormwood's Leaf" In-Game)
- Webber's sharp and pointy claws. ("Webber's Claw" In-Game)
- Wortox's soul-sucking paws. ("Wortox's Paw" In-Game)
- Wendy's flower-picking hands. ("Wendy's Hand" In-Game)
- Walter's slinger hands. ("Walter's Hand" In-Game)
- Woodie's splinter-filled gloves. ("Woodie's Glove" In-Game)
- Winona's beat-up gloves. ("Winona's Glove" In-Game)
- Wurt's greasy grimers. ("Wurt Claw" In-Game)
- WX-78's cold and unfeeling hands. ("WX-78 Hand" In-Game)
- A generic and ambiguous hand. ("Generic" In-Game)

...And currently 12 modded character ones!
From Island Adventures...
- Walani's chill hands. ("Walani Hand" In-Game)
- Woodlegs's lucky hands. ("Woodlegs Hand" In-Game)
- Wilbur's... um... yeah, you know what they are. ("Wilbur Hand" In-Game)

From Uncompromising Mode...
- Wathom's apex claws. ("Wathom Claw" In-Game)
- Winky's rat bastard paws. ("Winky Paw" In-Game)

From Reign of Runts...
- Moose Goose's motherly wings. ("Moose's Wing" In-Game)
- Dragonfly's rageful claws. ("Dragonfly's Claw" In-Game)
- Bearger's gluttonous paws. ("Bearger Paw" In-Game)
- Deerclops' ice-cold claw. ("Deerclops' Claw" In-Game)

From Hamlet...
- Wagstaff's not-all-there gloves. ("Wagstaff's Glove" In-Game)
- Wheeler's all-out adventurer hands. ("Wheeler Hand" In-Game)
- Wilba's royal hooves. ("Wilba Hoof" In-Game)

And standalone characters from a few mods...
- Whimsy's gem-smashing hands. ("Whimsy Hand" In-Game)
- Why's eerie hands. ("Why Exo-skeleton" In-Game)
- Wirlywings' compassionate hands. ("Wirlywings' Hand" In-Game)
- Wade's highly hygienized gloves. ("Wade Glove" In-Game)

You can enable the "Character Cursor" option to have it so your cursor matches with your character! How ingenious.

And multiple scales to choose! So if you ever feel the cursors are too small, you can change that.

And if you ever need more brain stimulation, it comes with a click feedback option! So when you click your cursor shrinks a bit and makes a clicky noise. How stimulating. (Turn it On/Off in the configurations)

Also, this comes with a text file and template on how to mod in your own art into this.
To find it, go to "C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/workshop/" (You can copy and paste this if Steam is installed in your C:\ drive.). Then, go to DST's workshop folder (To know which one it is, download a mod from the workshop, then sort folders by "Date Modified". It should show on top.), and find this mod's folder (Named "3399184840"). The readme in there should guide you further.

Credits:
- Clifford W., for making the original mod, and letting me use some of their code in my mod, thank you!

@That1TVHead oh! thanks for the catch! the crash is due to a typo, instead of checking for "cursor.cfg.cc_default", i was checking for an unexistant index, "cursor.cfg.default". pushing a tiny hotfix right now, hopefully should no longer crash

My game crashed as Wormwood, might be related to his special click fx.

managed to fix this by editing cursoreffects to have a null check in line 14, if that helps.

you're absolutely correct, it was a mod conflict! in my case, it was specifically the First Person mod, which i have no qualms with disabling lol
everything seems to work now, thank you! :steamhappy:

@jeremyfortytwo i've no clue how, but from one incident i've seen before it had to do with mod conflictions. sorry to ask this, but if you turn only my mod on, does it still happen? do you see it appear for a split second or something of the like?
jeremyfortytwo 22 Jun @ 3:35pm
my system cursor is still visible while i'm playing, and it blocks out the mod's cursor. any way past this? :(
Calcit 20 Jun @ 4:06am
it would be great if it were possible to move secondary actions to the middle mouse button and teleports to the right

@the sewers thats all good, its not that big a deal
the sewers  [author] 16 Jun @ 11:06pm
@tinfoil hat bird man, i really wish i could tell ya i fixed it and all, but i literally haven't been able to replicate it. i'll try and see what i can do to possibly fix it, but until then that's just going to be an issue with the mod. sorry :\
tinfoil hat bird 15 Jun @ 3:01pm
@the sewers marble one I believe, I think it might have to do with alt tabbing, though I can't be certain, I'm guessing it has to do with seasonal hue, since it goes invisible on character select, yet when you choose a character, the cursor returns.
the sewers  [author] 15 Jun @ 10:57am
@tinfoil hat bird can i ask what cursor you were using? i might have messed something up in the update
