[SCRIPT] L4D2 Auto Wound Ellipsoid Set-Up

Description
this script allows you to easily set up the l4d2 CI wounds without changing the Ellipsoid vectors

!!!FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!

1: Extract l4d2 assets (models, materials etc.) or just all the l4d2 or l4d1 content in sfm

2: Download texture folder with vmt files and replace the textures from the guide link
LINK TO THE GUIDE AND MATERIAL DOWNLOAD
(this will add the following parameter $debugellipsoids in L4D2 CI vmt's to allow us to see a hole in the model)
Credits to "the asdfghjkl" for making a guide on infected shader

3: After you replaced the vmt''s you can now use the script
(select the skin 1 to chonge CI to its wound state)

the script doesnt have the exact locations of the wounds since it was done manually at best,
positioning the ellipsoid as accurate as possible


(slash wounds are not added since they are quite difficult to place them accurately)

This script was took from other 2 scripts (proxy slider; setup_cloaking_eta_pyside)
as a base (but slightly chaning to create the wound ellipsod scipt, even tho i am no expert in programming)

The script curently works for L4D2 CI
the L4D1 CI dont really work with the infected shader because its asking for a similar type of texture like l4d2 ci do

you can tell by how differently they look by just looking at the vtf texture of 2 CI

L4D1 CI = generic texture with bodygroups
L4D2 CI = shader texture with separated color channels for Blood, Skin, Detail etc.

HOWEVER, there is a mod that changes the L4D1 CI texture be compatible with the infected (shader) system
and have more look variations

in l4d2 fixes you can remove the infected file in the materials folder

yes, i did selected skin 1 yes, it has correct path
l4d2 infec. yes, there is literally nothing on the model, no holes masks
theres the wound ellipsoids in element viewer but they dont work i guess

like is there any like masks hole on the infected model
have you selected the skin 1 on the model
does your infected model have the corect path to the wounded materials
are you using l4d2 infec or l4d1 infec

that is because your infected models (the one material that has _wounded written ans set to skin 1) dont have the $debugellipsoids 1
