This mod aims to make mage a more pleasant class to play with
Modified items have a tooltip line to indicate the modifications
Some modifications can be toggled in Mod Config -> Server Configs
Version summary:
- Arcana Update: Added a whole new Arcana system
- Astral Update: Added an upgrade to Celestial Cuffs, and slightly reworked some mage weapons related to Astral Infection
- Archmage Update: slightly reworked the mage weapons sold by Permafrost
- Accessory Update (initial release): buffed most mage accessories

Arcana System:
- Meet 25 unique boosting Arcana cards
- Some cards can only be activated on certain circumstances
- Unlock more cards and obtain more Arcana cost points during your journey

I disabled the Magnet upgrade in config and it doesn't freeze. I suspect it has something to do with that. Hopefully that helps with troubleshooting.

When unequipping celestial cuffs and mana flower, it does not persist.

I have a bug to report - I am fighting the perforators and i have mana flower and celestial cuffs equipped. I am not sure what is causing the freeze, but when I die to the boss, I end up freezing. This is as of the latest update on 07/13/2025. After disabling this mod I no longer freeze and respawn as normal. Would you be able to help please?

@Axeraph The magnet is designed to target the first enemy you hit as soon as the cooldown expires. This is a little bit annoying, but a more controllable behavior might make you too strong in a multi-target fight
As for the visuals, haven't figured out a good design for the lack of pixel assets, but the whole visual can now be toggled off.

also, it would be cool if the sprite was a little more subtle (maybe electricity effect only on the targeted enemy instead of chaining from the player). Sorry for all the spam, but I really love this addon so far!
