Description
Future Warfare: Laws, Missions and Tweaks adds more content to my other mod called Future Warfare. Complete missions to claim bonuses and use new, sci-fi themed laws. This will impact overall late-game heavily.

Install the original Future Warfare mod FIRST to avoid issues! Follow the installation guide provided in the Discussions tab. You can find the base mod (HERE)

Currently adds:

One additional level for each vanilla law:
  • Universal Hydroponics (Land Ownership Laws)
  • International Digital Currency (Monetary Policy)
  • Advanced Automated Tax Collection (Taxation System)
  • Virtual Education And Research (Education Policy)
  • Mandatory Service (Conscription Laws)
  • Enhanced International Law Compliance (Judicial System)
  • Military Service (Women's Rights)

Propaganda Laws (from ancient times to future era):
  • Public Speeches
  • Press Regulation
  • Radio Broadcasts And Posters
  • Mass Communication
  • Digital Information Policy
  • Extensive Propaganda Campaign

Universal mission tree for every civilization (the mission tree is below the original one, both are available):
  • Science Branch
  • Diplomatic Branch
  • Conquest Branch

Tweaks:
  • Max number of alliances raised to 8 (from 1)
  • Max base diplomacy points raised to 200 (from 150)
  • War declaration neighbors relations change set to -15.5 (from -12.5)
Tweaks can be edited in the mod's gameValues folder.

Supported languages:
  • English

Future plans and upcoming content:

Polish translation.

Possible changes to mission bonuses if people think they are too overpowered or useless.

You need to research Future Warfare technology to access the modded mission tree.

Keep in mind that AI will also complete missions and claim bonuses.

I know a lot of people would like to use this mod alongside more popular ones. So, I suggest you pick smaller mods that tweak various game values like research speed, time passage and so on. I encourage you to make your own tweaks as well, the game is easy to mod.

You are free to create future scenarios tailored for this mod and publish them on the workshop.

Unit images resolution currently made only for the smallest UI setting and be sure to test things out in sandbox mode before you consider playing with this mod normally!

This mod will most likely not work with other law and missions mods. This mod also changes gameValues (GV_AggressiveExpansion.json and GV_Diplomacy.json) so keep that in mind as well. The rest of the mods are compatible as long as they don't alter values mentioned.

I need your suggestions and feedback so I can make rebalancing changes and fix errors. There's just so much that can go wrong with AI or unfair advantages can be found. Be sure to let me know if anything needs to be adjusted or changed!!!

@luzpastenh Check FAQ in Discussions, if you paste the edited mod to the "mods" folder there might be issues with the base mod that adds units and such. Delete every folder but NOT the "laws" one. If you're not planning on using the base mod alongside the laws, you'll have to edit "Laws.json" and change the RequiredTechID value, switch the 101 to anything from 86 to 97.

@WhiteMan Of course not, maybe there was a game update that changed laws, I'll check it out. Try booting up other scenarios to see if it's scenario related problem. And a reminder, you can't have two mods on that add laws, they will bug out

Propaganda laws should provide not only bonuses but also debuffs

Propaganda laws are implemented, test them out and let me know if you spot any issues or bugs.
If you think propaganda laws should give different bonuses, tell me. I am open to suggestions. :smileyflag:
