First of all, please read the notes at the end!

Foreword to mission design

Since not everyone seems to read my instructions at the end, here are a few at the beginning. It is intended that the reinforcement fleet is in the South Pacific at the start of the game, it is also intended that a single CH46 is in the Pacific at the start of the game. Both are elements of mission events that should NOT be used until the event is over. This means do not give orders, do not change course or let them land. Or, to put it more simply, please only control the units that are in the mission area. As soon as the reinforcements appear there, you can use them, the same applies to the helicopter.
The mission is designed as a partially dynamic mission. The helicopter, for example, is an element of a small quest with two possible outcomes. The reinforcement fleet jumps to predetermined positions when another event is triggered. I could have solved both differently. However, this would have meant that the player could not control the reinforcement fleet, for example. I don't want to dangle a carrot in the form of two large beams in front of anyone, only to find out that you can't control them. The editor is very limited at this point. I would have liked to have solved it differently, but that wasn't possible at the moment.

The story:
The impossible has happened. The armed forces of the USSR have overrun our European allies within a few weeks. What is left of the European naval forces and air forces have tried to find a way to the US east coast to continue the fight with us. Bermuda was quickly built into a bulwark in order to be able to withstand what was to come. Unfortunately, a large part of the Atlantic fleet was either in the shipyard or assigned to RIMPAC. To defend the east coast, you have a motley force of ships from the US Navy, the German Navy, the Navy of Great Britain, Belgium and other allies at your disposal to organize the defense. Reinforcements from the Pacific are on the way and have already passed through the Panama Canal. Hold on until the reinforcements arrive and then repel the attack.

!!! NOTES !!!

1) Unfortunately, the scenario editor doesn't offer 100% of the options I would like. So please keep your hands off the CH46 and the reinforcement fleet until the triggers have been run.

2) The airfields are taken from the templates. As soon as I get around to it, they will be replaced with my own mods

3) Part 1 is currently still in beta status

Disclaimer
Part 1 is a very large mission with a lot of event triggers, 7 aircraft carriers, 2 airfields and all in all something like 50 warships. I tested the mission on my PC (Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 32GB DDR5-6000, RTX 4070 TiS) and it works. If the mission doesn't load, it's possible that your PC is too weak at this point (too little RAM, too slow hard drive or something similar). Please let me know anyway. If I get enough feedback like this, I'll try to build a kind of light version that will also run on weaker systems.

Hi, athor. Might I recommend breaking the defence fleet up into battlegroups? Like actual US doctrine. You'd have a Iowa battlegroup, a CV battlegroup, and Nassau Battlegroup. You can even add a free frigate squardon without increasing the number of overall ships.

Im Sorry to hear that, but you are right, the Game is atm not ready for this Mission. With 9800X3D it works ok. not really smooth but also no picshow. Try the real Campaign. There the first Mission is a bit reduced.

Yea unfortunately the performance for this many assets & i think primarily such a large mission area is bad. I mean, i got a 5900x, 32GB of DDR4 @ 3733, & a RTX 3080, so it's not that i have bad hardware(but still not good enough), its just the game & how hard it is on the CPU. It's not the mod developersfault, its just what i mentioned before, particularly the large mission area that has to be simulated. The game loads, but its just stutter city lol. Thanks for ur effort anyway mod dev! I hope to get a 9950x3d at some point and i will be back to try it out!

游戏大体上正常运行,但美国本土的那个机场似乎出现高度错误,俯视看不到机场场景并且无法起飞飞机?
总的来说还是很喜欢这种大型战役,期待新作品

Yeah, sadly huge missions with lots of units tend to tank framerate. Downloaded the campaign

That the reinforcment is in the pacific is Part of the concept. Will teleport to the Battlezone when you Trigger the Event for that. Same the ch46.
The Mission Here will become a stand alone Version of only the First Mission. I mustvsay, the Performance in the late Game is Bad ATM. Butvthats Not the Mission or the Game him self, IT seems to BE the engine and/or the polishing state of the Game. As mentioned before i Made a smaller Version of Part one. That will become the Base of the campaign. Abgerman Streamer showed my Mission to day and IT was some Times very laggy. Dont know whats the difference To my rig or If IT was the Stream what Takes some extra Power from the PC. Maybe ITS my 9800x3d that makes the difference. After some comments and in the fact that thr original Mission Here will Take around 5 to 6 hours in best Case to solve it i decided to make a second part one. A shorter and more Streamline Version. I started to Design IT Out of the Long Version Here. The Long Version will stay so you can decide for your self Whichversion you Like to Play. ATM therebis No load and save mechanic in the Game, that make Mission over 3 or 4 hours a bit complicate to Play... Reallife and sich Things. Hopefully the short Version will also solve some Performance issues.
What will come? The enemy will be in shorter distance. Around 140nm Not 250 Like in the Long Version. Also the Trigger Events will come earlier. The shorter Version will become Harder to Play.You have Seen Star Trek TOS? Then you know the meaning of Kobayashi Maru. The Test you cant solve.
