Goatman 2.0

Description
NOTICE PLEASE READ: this mod has been tested for both singleplayer and local co-op, however if you intend to play co-op be wary of potential bugs.

This mod is a brand new version of my old "Goatman" mod, changing his mechanics and this time adding a tainted version too. Both versions start with brand new items, one of which is a new and powerful familiar with its own unique mechanics. Also, there's 2 bonus trinkets added to the game.

------ Character descriptions -------

GOATMAN

- Has 2 red hearts and default stats
- Starts with the item "Trinket Hoarder" and a Pethro rune
- Designed for a more standard, vanilla experience
- Birthright effect: spawns 10 coins on the ground, afterwards for every 5 seconds that pass Soul of Eden will be summoned and activated. Items and pickups will be rerolled for a total of 4 times. Choose what to pick up and what to reroll within each cycle

TAINTED GOATMAN

- Has 3 spirit hearts and a severely downgraded tears stat
- Starts with the item "Holy Peep" and a Blank rune
- Designed for a more laid back experience, less challenging
- Birthright effect: once every room, when damaged, all enemies will be frozen for a few seconds and Holy Peep will have a boosted attack speed

------ Item descriptions -------

TRINKET HOARDER

- Shows up in the secret room item pool
- Upon pickup, spawns 3 random trinkets on the ground
- When enterting a new floor, all currently held trinkets will be automatically gulped with a chance for new trinkets to spawn on the ground afterwards

HOLY PEEP

- Shows up in the angel room item pool
- Upon pickup, spawns a familiar that looks like Peeper but with completely independent movement
- Detects and targets enemies in the room by following them and summoning a holy light
- Peep's stats scale along the player's stats. Affected stats include Peep's attack speed (tied to player's tear stat), damage (tied to player's damage) and "crit" chance (tied to player's luck)
- Peep will also become stronger and faster the more bosses you fight. Make sure to exploit that in case a run isn't going your way
- Synergizes with various items of different underlying themes (i.e. status effect items)
- Has custom animation for certain scenarios (i.e. if you pick up an item that synergizes with Peep he will do a silly little dance)
- You can change Peep's enemy priority by taping the drop button, from last spawned to first spawned and vice versa.
- BFFs! bonus: increases damage, size and range of holy light

------ Trinket descriptions -------

GOATMAN'S TAIL
- Has a random chance to spawn a friendly Goat enemy on the room. He will be invincible and will disappear once you leave the room

MYSTERIOUS HORN
- Has a small chance to freeze all enemies in the room when taken damage, like Tainted Goatman's birthright effect

It keeps crashing my game. Does anyone know any conflicts it might have?

I also tested this item on other character upon picking up. It grants DIFFERENT trinkets, but for Goatman he gets same 3 each run. Interesting.

Oh to settle your curiosity as well, Tainted Goatman works 100% correct too. As I playtested it, had some fun with it and worked like a charm.

Yes I do play with other mods but they are 99% character mods. No truly complicated mods like Fiend Folio. (Aint that type of guy) But yes, seemingly I get same 3 trinkets every run despite uninstalling the mod and installing again, and same goes for some character mods too.

However, the rest of the functionality is correct. I get a different trinket each run after each floor.
Its just the first initial 3 I get are same every time. I found that very bizarre, as I dont have any compatibility issues in the past with each mod. (Given they are character mods and some misc. mods like "Pinky Plum" which is just a texture mod.)

@DeoxysAndMew 2 Nothing about the code specifies it should be those same exact trinkets but I have had instances of trinkets repeating on multiple runs. For the sake of testing, are you playing with other mods? And does it show the same results even if you close and open the game and start a new run?
