I also tested this item on other character upon picking up. It grants DIFFERENT trinkets, but for Goatman he gets same 3 each run. Interesting.

Oh to settle your curiosity as well, Tainted Goatman works 100% correct too. As I playtested it, had some fun with it and worked like a charm.

Yes I do play with other mods but they are 99% character mods. No truly complicated mods like Fiend Folio. (Aint that type of guy) But yes, seemingly I get same 3 trinkets every run despite uninstalling the mod and installing again, and same goes for some character mods too.

However, the rest of the functionality is correct. I get a different trinket each run after each floor.
Its just the first initial 3 I get are same every time. I found that very bizarre, as I dont have any compatibility issues in the past with each mod. (Given they are character mods and some misc. mods like "Pinky Plum" which is just a texture mod.)

@DeoxysAndMew 2 Nothing about the code specifies it should be those same exact trinkets but I have had instances of trinkets repeating on multiple runs. For the sake of testing, are you playing with other mods? And does it show the same results even if you close and open the game and start a new run?

I've got a question, is Goatman supposed to spawn alongside 3 same trinkets?! Each run I get Ace Of Spades/Lucky Rock and Doorstop trinkets to choose from.

Just genuinely curious.

Huh... I legit wasnt expecting for this character to resurface. I must say, that's cool.
There is so many character mods left to rot, its not even funny...

So now I have 2 trinket based characters in the roster: Cross and Goatman. :D

@LukeThe_idiot This mod was tested for the latest version of the game, so I can't guarantee it'll work without it. I'll have to check it for myself.

Wow, I wasn't expecting to see this character again. Awesome job on reviving him @goatman! Oh, and I got a question for you. In addition to being a self insert of yourself, is Goatman also based on the urban legend creature from Maryland of the same name? (which is this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goatman_(urban_legend)

@goatman I believe you could try setting it when you initialize the familiar? I don't know exactly because I haven't tried coding a familiar but I think that since it's a cache flag you could set the player from the familiar on cache. Sorry for my possible ignorance as, like I said, I haven't tried coding any familiars. Best of luck ✌️
