Description
NOT AN OFFICIAL SUBMOD

I made this submod on my own as I decided to try playing an Empire Divided campaign on DeI while waiting for next beta and some other submods, but, as the ED campaign hasn't yet received a proper overhaul yet, I found out it had a few issues.


What the mod does:
  • Added new units: Cohors Aquilae for Aurelian's Roma and Praeventores for all main roman factions.
  • It's now possible to acquire unique units from other's main roman factions' home region as Aurelian: 3 from Gallic Rome and 3 from Palmyra.
  • New units cards, courtesy of Marcovinchi!
  • Restored all vanilla mercenary units.
  • Overhauls stats of some main rosters units and of all the mercenaries units, as they still had vanilla stats and were so completely unbalanced.
  • Added to all the units of ED the nice abilities we are used to from DeI's epic battle system (defensive formation, reform the line etc.).
  • Fixed UI not displaying army's supplies indicator by giving it Grand Campaign Skin.
  • Added new deployment zone border's ui.
  • Remodel of roman champions. THIS ONE WILL ONLY WORK WHEN USED WITH AVR.
  • Added all auxiliary units to Roma's custom battle roster.
  • Added all factions to campaign and custom battle.
  • Made all minor factions able to live without regions left.

Coming next:
  • Unit descriptions redone.
  • A few units' vmds fixes.
  • Fixed Garrisons.
  • Roman Generals' remodel.
  • ?

Most of the balance fixes were done using the Dei version of the Restitutor Orbis skin submod, which I suggest, as it's good quality and mercs units still use vanilla looks.
Another highly suggested submod to pair with it is Sol Invictus.

Place this submod above DeI in order for it to work.

- ED Fixes
- AVR Beta
- Divide et Impera parts


I also wanted to thank the Dei team as they were very kind to explain to me what to edit and how.

I seem to be crashing during the AI turn on turn 1 with this mod. I have the load order right, is it possible it is not compatible with DEI submods and/or DEI Realism? Should this only be run with base DEI?

I also just noticed that it is not possible to build the Aurelian Walls in Rome. The capital building chain is that of any regular province.

Hello! I have long been waiting for the DEI team to touch ED so this mod is very welcome and I thank you for taking the initiative. However, I have a couple issues. For some reason I cannot build the Cloaca Maxima, and the Sol Invictus religious building chain does not exist. I know that the latter is also an issue when playing ED on regular DEI without this mod (replaced by the Nymphaeum if I'm not mistaken). I can see the relevant icons of these buildings in the tech tree, but they do not appear in the building browser. Is this something that should have been fixed with your mod and is acting up on my end or something you are working on fixing? Thanks in advance!

i cant see anything in the palmyra campaign UI. its white with a white background. can you change this

don't know if this is right place to ask but rome armor pikemen have only 120 unit instead 150 unit normal?
