Description


Hot on the heels of my Bretonnia Overhaul comes my next mod, Nanu's Lizard Tweaks.

This lightweight mod adds a new lord type, a new hero, a few units and several unit updates to the Lizardmen.

New Units

  • New Lord Type: Skink Prophet
    • These skink sorcerers have proven themselves worthy of leading armies into battle.
  • New Hero Type: Skink Priest (Fire)
    • Skink Priests who have chosen to learn the Lore of Fire are devastating in the field.
  • New Mount: Ancient Stegadon for Slann
    • Mazdamundi thinks he's so special for being the only Slann with a stegadon. No longer. Now every Slann gets a stegadon mount
  • Temple Cohorts
    • These skinks are no mere Slann attendents, they are elite warriors charged with defending the sacred temples of Lustria alonside the the Temple Guard
  • Temple Cohorts (Javelins)
    • With poison tipped javelins, this shielded cudgel infantry forms a strong damage sponge for your front lines
  • Skink Cold One Riders
    • Though not as mighty as saurus, these skinks ride into battle with long spears tipped with noxious poison that more than make up for their lack of strength
  • Skink Horned One Riders
    • Only the strongest and bravest skinks risk their lives attempting to tame and mount a mighty Horned One
  • Feral Horned Ones
    • A high tier war hound style unit, stronger and faster than cold ones with more armor and combat prowess, these dinos will chew through infantry and cavalry alike
  • Feral Terradons
    • Cheap flying untis that can tie down enemy archers while your more valuable dinos position themselves and wreak havoc
  • Feral Ripperdactyls
    • Though the lack the calming presence of a rider to curtail their bestial rage, the effectiveness of a Ripperdactyl on enemy infantry remains devastating

  • Saurus Warriors (Shields)
    • Renamed Saurus Warriors (unshielded Saurus Warriors are now just "Saurus")
    • Armor: 60 -> 75
  • Saurus Spears (Shields)
    • Renamed Saurus Warriors (Spears)
    • Armor: 60 -> 75
  • Blessed Saurus Warriors (Shields)
    • Armor: 60 -> 75
  • Blessed Saurus Spears (Shields)
    • Armor: 60 -> 75
  • Feral Cold Ones
    • Now Recruitable at level 2 Cold One Building
    • Armor: 90 -> 70

Hi!

I found a weird bug.

When playing as Nakai, the Skink Prophet uses a Slaanesh demon model.

gotta admit, I don't like this one. I feel like you went for the wrong aspect of what needs updating with lizardmen. in vanilla, they already have a massive roster, and most mods on the workshop add more units to their roster. instead, I would love if you set your considerable modding abilities on fixing them on the campaign map.

Would it be possible to make it work with the Favour of the Old ones? https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2872374503 i love playing with this but i feel the new units falls off when i can't upgrade them late game :(
