Description
Although you may have seen mods that drastically increase the sizes of planets (such as this for example), never before have you probably seen a mod like this here, where the worlds' sizes have been resized to a fraction of real scale. So expansive are these worlds, that it might take you days, or even weeks, to circumnavigate them! (Better stock up on flags, since these planets might just be the closest thing you'll get towards exploring a Terraria-like world.)

Fortunately, digging down to the cores (or rather, the mantles) of these worlds shouldn't take more than a couple days, since they're only around 10x as big, regardless of size, whereas the circumferences of these worlds are at least 100x as long as in vanilla Starbound. (Note: I can't go higher than 2 million blocks, since that would result in buggy movement.)

Important Note: This mod comes with various extra features to help keep exploration more interesting within these epically-sized worlds, though it may also possibly come with a few compatability issues regarding planet generation defaults. (There are thoughts about breaking this mod down into a bunch of modular parts for better customizability, but for now, here's the full package to enjoy.)

Important Note: This mod limits main dungeons to just 1 per layer maximum, regardless of planet size! This is because main dungeons are generated early, as part of planet generation (as early as when you 1st beam down early), which gets unacceptably long if trying to generate hundreds, or even dozens, of them at a time. As such, I'd strongly recommend installing the Village and Dungeon Biomes mod, which will add new sub-biomes that generate lots of microdungeons consisting of parts of these main dungeons.

Note: This mod vastly increases the quantity of secondary biomes that spawn, and also vastly reduces their sizes to being roughly similar to vanilla Starbound sizes. In fact, anywhere between 95% to 99% of the planets' surfaces should be expected to be populated with a wide variety of secondary biomes, while the remainder should be the primary biome. (As such, a mod like More Sensible Secondary Biome Distribution, or even better, Sub-Biomes as Secondary Biomes (More Sensible Biomes Edition) may be preferable to add diversity towards your planets.) However, each planet's primary biome was also duplicated a few times as secondary biomes in order to keep the primary biome the most dominant biome of their respective worlds, whilst also making that planet spawn more of the primary biome's sub-biomes.

Note: This mod has a positive priority of 100, since it mostly just replaces planet sizes, and otherwise also adds to planets instead of replaces them. As such, it should load after many other mods with a lower priority than it (those mods that don't define their priority settings default to a priority of 0), unless another mod with a lower priority were to list this mod as being "required" or "included", in which case, it might load earlier than expected.

Recommended Mods:
- Village and Dungeon Biomes (Base) and either Village and Dungeon Secondary Biomes or Village and Dungeon Sub-Biomes (or both if you want more populated planets.) (Adds biomes that are full of microdungeons made out of pieces of main dungeons, to act as a substitute for main dungeons, which players' PCs can't afford to have hundreds of in order to load these more realistically-scaled planets in a timely fashion.)
- Alternative Early-Game Quest Line for the Outpost (In all honesty, I doubt that anyone would be willing to dedicate entire days or weeks looking for any ancient gateways or abandoned mines on their starting Lush planets. Therefore, I've already gone through the effort of developing that mod for just an ambitious epic-scale mod like this one here.)
-- Alternatively, players could go for a story disabler mod, such as one that starts the player on a fully-functional ship.

Suggested Mods:
- Sub-Biomes as Secondary Biomes (More Sensible Biomes Edition) (Moves sub-biomes into secondary biome arrays, so that those sub-biome arrays could be populated solely by the village and dungeon biomes from the mod above. It also incorporates aspects of the More Sensible Secondary Biome Distribution mod within it to further add to planets' biome diversities.)

Unsupported Mods:
- Generally, any mod that adds in additional size categories won't be supported, since this mod deals primarily with vanilla Starbound's planet sizes. (Players will have to look for patches for those mods, or develop them themselves if they're also modders in their own rights.)
-- Frackin' Universe (That mod adds 4 additional planet sizes, huge, mega, immense, and mammoth, along with gas giants that can be explored. As such, I'd rather see others develop their own special mods that would combine this mod's scaling with Frackin' Universe as they see fit.)

I see
I'm probably going to modify one of those 10x planet size mods and add the new size category to it while also making the mod priority higher than landable gas giants 2 to make it work for my end

@Velocity: That mod adds a new size category that's bigger than vanilla Starbound's largest planet size category, right? If indeed so, then (like with Frackin' Universe) without any additional patches, my mod would have no effect on it, since my mod ONLY touches vanilla Starbound's planet sizes (except for that used by the Ruin).

Thus, I'd predict that even the smallest vanilla Starbound planet sizes would dwarf these landable gas giants in explorable space (instead of the other way around).

@Wyrm: That task would have to fall to another mod.

Any chance for a change to random npc quests so they don't have me having to go clear across to the other side of the planet to do them?

@Thealamenthe: Unfortunately, I'm afraid the biggest hurdle towards that would still be the loading speed of planet chunks, which can be observed even with normal movement speeds if your PC is slow enough (like mine).

Now all we need is a way to traverse the planet surface faster lol

@DDLSRW: I'm pretty certain that somebody else has already made a planet sizes mod that's more to your liking.
