Description
Create and upgrade your own army of mechanoids!

Supported Mods:

Advanced Mechanoids
The Dead Man's Switch
Reinforced Mechanoids 2 (Continued)
Alpha Mechs

Psycasts:

Tier 1:

Manifest Mechlink: Uses the power of the psylink to create a mechlink.

Tier 2:

Summon Militor: Bandwidth Cost: 1 (The mechanoid must still be hacked manually.)

Precept: Ambush

Psychically hack an experimental ambush precept into a mechanoid, causing it to go invisible until an offensive action is taken. Very effective on worker models, allowing them to continue work while staying mostly undetected.

Engage Stealth:

Psychically shroud the mechanoid in light-refracting archites, causing it to become virtually invisible. The process cannot be sustained for long though.

Tier 3:

Summon Scyther: Bandwidth Cost: 2 (The mechanoid must still be hacked manually.)

Summon Lancer: Bandwidth Cost: 3 (The mechanoid must still be hacked manually.)

Summon Scorcher: Bandwidth Cost: 1 (The mechanoid must still be hacked manually.)

Tier 4:

Optimize Mech: Psychically rewrite the code of the mechanoid's internal subroutines to remove unnecessary safety measures, allowing the mechanoid to move and fight faster. (1.20 Move speed, 1.75 Work speed, 2x Melee and ranged attack speed.)

Reinforce Mech: Psychically enchant the mechanoid's component with a low energy archite field that reduces the amount of damage taken upon being hit. (0.65x Incoming damage.)

Epsilon Shutdown: Psychically hack a mechanoid to shut it off.

Tier 5:

Summon Tesseron: Bandwidth Cost: 3 (The mechanoid must still be hacked manually.)

Summon Pikeman: Bandwidth Cost: 2 (The mechanoid must still be hacked manually.)

Summon Blaster Centipede: Bandwidth Cost: 4 (The mechanoid must still be hacked manually.)

Tier 6:

Summon Diabolus: Bandwidth Cost: 5 (The mechanoid must still be hacked manually.)

Summon War Queen: Bandwidth Cost: 5 (The mechanoid must still be hacked manually.)

Summon Apocriton: Bandwidth Cost: 2 (The mechanoid must still be hacked manually, the Apocriton will give a mood loss to any nearby pawns.)

Tier 7:

Project Omega: Inferno: Hack a distant mechanoid factory to produce an inferno auto turret and skip it directly to you.

Project Zeta: Charge: Hack a distant mechanoid factory to produce a charge blaster auto turret and skip it directly to you.

Project Alpha: Mortar: Hack a distant mechanoid factory to produce an auto mortar and skip it directly to you.

Tier 8:

Psy-Mechlink upgrade: Uses the power of the psylink to upgrade the mechlink granting you +10 Bandwidth and +1 additional control group.

Mechanitor Precept: Partial-Conversion: Strip the mechanoid's systems out of the grasp of the mech-hive, the mechanoid can be hacked if you wish to claim it.

Mechanitor Precept: Apocritia: Uses the power of the psylink to upgrade the mechlink for a duration of 24hrs, granting you the ability to resurrect any allied mechs except super heavies during that time.

This tree can be unlocked after spending a point on the "Mech-Mind" focus type and is located in the Misc path tab.

Okay, i found one small issue, a continuation of my previous post, regarding the implants. Apparently pawns, which have been granted a mechlink by the psycast (bodyimplant), can use a regular mechlink implant. It will "consume" the item, but not actually grant anything, no doublelinks and no upgrades. I dont expect a fix for the issues you mentioned (save breaking sounds worse indeed), but i feel its worth mentioning for players to be cautious.
Maybe for when you may want to do a 2.0 of this mod, i'd have some suggestions for rebalancing too :)

Any chance we could get a recharge psycast? Instantly recharges x energy in a mech, it scales with psycaster bandwith and sensitivity.

Excellent! Sounds lightweight in principle. The wealth focus makes a series of calls that request a list of all tiles in range and their wealth then sums it up, every tick, as far as I can tell. It's stupidly expensive, but I haven't dug deeper than dub's analyzer. Anyways, being able to use it without the focus is fantastic and allows me to just sidestep the issue, if it turns out to be an issue (which it probably won't be). Thank you!

@Molay I don't know how wealth focus type works but the mech focus only checks for the mech booster as it is the meditation item

Yes the tree will work fine without the focus type.

I have a small question about the Mech-Mind focus type. I avoid the custom focus types like the plague, as they tend to really tank TPS for me (the ones I tried at least, wealth focus being horrendous and dropping TPS from 360 to around 40). What does that focus type check for, is it optimized okay? And if I see big performance concerns, does the tree still work if I debug-unlock it without grabbing the focus type?

Update: Removed DDS textures from the files, some users are having issues while loading these.

@MercuryDoll LMFAOOO, that's a small issue but fixing it would require people to reset their psycast list so it's not really worth fixing imo.

Okay, whether this is a bug or its like this due to a limitation, but i thought it was funny so have this meme https://i.imgur.com/xMn0HtE.png
