Zerg - BIOSHIP - 4.0 Patch

Description
This patch makes Daeniellm's Zerg compatible with 4.0 .+

⚠️🔥 WARNING! NOT COMPATIBLE WITH NSC3 UNTIL IT IS PATCHED 🔥⚠️

A StarCraft Fanmod
Lore & Description

The Zerg Swarm is a nightmarish force of biological perfection, driven by a singular will: to consume, evolve, and dominate. Born on the barren world of Zerus and later shaped by the will of the ancient Xel'Naga, the Zerg embody the ultimate form of adaptation - merging countless genetic traits into a single, ever-growing collective.

Ruled by the Overmind and, later, by the Queen of Blades, the Zerg operate as a hive mind, with billions of organisms acting in perfect unison. They have no need for diplomacy, culture, or negotiation. Their purpose is singular: the assimilation of all life to fuel their genetic evolution. Every creature in the Swarm, from the basic Zergling to the massive Ultralisk or airborne Mutalisk, is bred for war and optimized through experience.

Zerg colonies rapidly infest and transform entire planets, spreading creep and spawning biological structures from the ground itself. They strike swiftly and with overwhelming force, relying on numbers, speed, and constant adaptation to overcome technologically superior foes.

Though viewed by many as monsters, the Zerg are not mindless. They are intelligent, calculating, and capable of terrifying innovation. Under Kerrigan’s leadership, the Swarm evolved beyond its original programming, becoming a force of vengeance, purpose, and even ideology.

The Zerg are not merely an enemy - they are the end of all resistance, the inevitable evolution of life through assimilation. To fight them is to battle nature itself - ruthless, patient, and endlessly hungry.

Fixes, Issues & More

Fixes
-> All ships rewritten to fit bio support. Multiple stages etablished
-> Offspringships work properly

Compatible Bioship Sets
-> Supports Babylon 5 - Vorlon Shipset - BIOSHIP - 4.0+ Patch
-> Supports Hive FE Ship Set
-> Supports Ren's Lithogenesis (this mod changes more as just the shipset, be warned!)
-> Supports Stargate - Wraith Bioships
-> If you wish for more Support with other Bio Shipsets keep me in touch in comments

Patch included for 4.0+. Zerg are shown as biological
- no animations, since the original don't comes with it.
for mechanical check Starcraft - Zerg Shipset - NSC3 Patch (playable without NSC3 also)

Incompatible with
- Starcraft - Zerg Shipset - NSC3 Patch

Issues still happening
-> No support for NSC3 until NSC3 gets patched since some bioship entries changed on last Stellaris Patch. If the new patch of it is out, this will also work with NSC3. This only counts if you want to play Progenitor Hives, since Offspring ships will be invisible than.
-> As every other bioshipset, this one is incompatible with shipsets NOT included in this description!

Important: If you have other bioship you wish beeing compatible with this, tell me in comments and i will add them. Means, if you check this, all shipsets made compatible with this mod, are compatible with every mod included in the patch! as long they dont change drastical other stuff

Loadorder
1. Load after other bioshipsets

Please report any issues you encounter, and I will do my best to fix them as quickly as possible. This patch has been tested with Stellaris version 4.0.21, but it should remain compatible with past and future versions. I will continue to monitor compatibility.

heyhey, i'd just quickly like to say that the original shipset isn't actually mine, i just updated it to work after the OG guy left it to rot, and now you've done the same after i left it to rot

good job, very nice.

Thank you for this mod, but I think Mutalisk as Stinger class(Bio Battleship) doesn't fit on... perhaps Guardian will be Stinger class?

I did rework the compatiblitly.
I hope it works now for you if you try it again

@EMPIREVSREBLES

Crazy.... i will check again, but on my end it works mhh
But if you wanna check shipsets for the future, just do a new playset
Add in that test playset both shipsets and see if they work with each other.
If not do a report :)
Its not needed that you always load all mods, if you wanna find out if one mod is a issue.
I use multiple playsets aswell for testing, playing and multiplayer stuff and even more

I tried it, and it didn't work on my end.

Although, I'm taking a break from modding with Stellaris.

I was dumb enough to validate my files when I tweaked several mods, and they all reset, and I don't want to go through 10+ minute load times to check if some are working or not.

@EMPIREVSREBLES
I added support for Hive FE. and Lithogenesis
EMPIREVSREBLES 18 Jun @ 7:49pm
Okay, turns out there was a mod conflict with one of the bioship mods.

Apparently Hive FE has a conflict with this. It's weird because it only adds an altered Spinovore as a shipset. Either way, I had Zerg load both above and below, and idk where it went wrong.

Maybe Steam update failed on you? Did you try reabo?
It seems to work for me, i just have it open hmm

You know its a bioship mod? its not the NSC version. So you only have bioship classes.
Also no normal classes like cruisers or so. Since Bioship have different classes.

Also do you have another Bioship mod installed except the Wraith besides this??
EMPIREVSREBLES 18 Jun @ 6:16pm
@Fran I don't think it worked. It's removing a couple of ship classes.

My loading order is Zerg Shipset, and then the patch, all after all my shipset mods.
Fran  [author] 18 Jun @ 3:17pm
Status Update: With the help of Avatar i was able to fix the Shipset. It should now work as intended. If not, tell me :)
