Corpse Desiccation Timer

Description
Introduction
Carrying your dead, beloved wife across the wastelands in search of a cryptosleep casket?

Not sure how long you have until that rotting corpse turns into a skeleton?

Just want to know when that damn rot stink will go away?

Wonder no more!

Features
While the vanilla game tells you how soon a corpse will rot, it never tells you how soon it will desiccate afterward. This means you're always left guessing how much "rot time" is remaining.

With this mod, you'll know the exact amount of time before that rotting corpse (whether human, animal, or insect) desiccates into a pile of bones... and that ressurector mech serum you've been questing for becomes utterly useless, forever.

It also notes if the corpse is currently refrigerated (slowing down the decomposition process) or entirely frozen (stopping it completely). Don't forget that desiccation is naturally sped up by higher temperatures!

Compatibility
I am not currently tracking any bugs. The mod is lightweight, requires no dependencies, and is safe to add or remove mid-save. It has been tested with over 600 mods. However, if you find any issues, please report them in the comment section.

Ok. It was just a guess.

@VitaKaninen, my mod doesn't affect the actual state of the corpse or spawn anything new. It just reports a hidden value attached to it. Those guinea pigs may have been hungry (or even starving), but they were still fully alive. Pawns can only be in four stages: Alive -> Fresh -> Rotting -> Desiccated. There is no inherent countdown toward rotting or desiccation until the corpse actually reaches the appropriate stage and each stage lasts approximately 2.5 in-game days at normal temperatures. Since scaria infected pawns have a high chance to immediately begin rotting upon death, some other mod is interfering with the transition and causing rotting corpses to automatically desiccate.

To troubleshoot this, you can create a save gave where this problem is about to happen (like right before the guinea pigs attacked) and then disable individual mods until you find the one that is causing it.

Ok. One last thought. In my playthrough, I let them remain on the map for a full day or more. If you saw in the video, when I selected some of them, their hunger bar was almost at empty.

This made me think that the desiccation timer started as soon as they entered the map, and by the time I killed them, your mod would have cause them to spawn desiccated corpses, since it had already been more than a day since the timer started. I could be wrong, though.

@VitaKaninen, I just tested your scenario using 1.6 dev mode. I spawned several guinea pigs and other animals, infected them with scaria, and then set their mental state to manhunter. Upon death they either became rotting corpses or remained fresh. None turned into skeletons. It must be another mod causing that problem.

This is the first time it had happened. I thought it was due to their small size, and maybe since it only affected the ones with Scaria, the desiccation timer had already started running as soon as they entered the map, since they were already considered to be rotting. It might not be this mod that is doing it, but since they changed the way Scaria works, it made me think that maybe this was the cause.

@VitaKaninen, that is strange. My mod only brings forth the hidden variable of "rot time" for the player. It should not affect the actual desiccation process itself. My guess is that another mod is causing this problem. Is this happening with everything you kill or just with manhunter packs?

I had a manhunter pack of guinea pigs, and I let them run around for a couple days, and then when I started to kill them, a lot of them instantly turned into desiccated corpses upon dying.
