Description

The Surface Launched Advanced Medium Range Skylight Multi vehicle Air Defense System is a mobile anti aircraft missile system. It only requires 2 vehicles and the communications and generator are optional though sort of required when the system is stationary as the battery slowly drains. The towed launcher is exclusive to the radar truck only.

The mandatory vehicles in a SLAMR-SKL battery is the E-32 Stanley radar truck and the K-33 towed launcher. Optional vehicles can be any generator and communications vehicles. The E-32 Stanley radar truck is compatible with the SLAMRAAM for missile datalink guidance.

Radar Vehicle Chaff Resistance:Slight resistance
Max Radar Range:13KM
Max Azimuth:180° left and right, all turrets
Max Elevation:Fixed elevation for all turrets(the radar can scan at all upward angles without the need to change its elevation and the missile is maneuverable enough to turn rapidly into whatever elevation it is)

Feel free to rip off the missile and paste it into your vehicle, just make sure when you're uploading it, use this embed in the description: https://i.imgur.com/Lr21SzE.png

On an aircraft platform, the missile is maneuverable enough to hit targets from the sides or even rear.

1) Open door and get inside the truck
2) Press the "Start Engine" down arrow button
3) Shift gear from parking to drive
4) To reverse, shift from parking to reverse
5) Put to parking and press the "Deploy Stability Legs" switch
6) (Optional) Release the tow connector
7) Use the "Deploy" button on the towed launcher
8) Go inside the radar operator room and switch "Systems On", "Datalink TX" and "Master Arm"
9) Select target either through the screen or the seat
10) Fire missile, if it locks on chaff, switch targets, the missile is maneuverable enough to turn back to the target
11) To be able to use the SLAMRAAM, connect the yellow electrical connector node to the SLAMRAAM with the same name

The default IFF number is 7257000(NNTC IFF numbers)(+1 for the HMD IFF)

Make sure to spawn the SLAMRAAM with the truck otherwise the missile guidance wouldn't work

It does a good job against airplanes and slow missiles, but it's almost useless against fast missiles, the radar manages to recognize most of the fast missiles, but the rocket itself has too little speed, it would be nice to improve this

what does the net and atlf buttons on the screen do

The head pops off first before the missile launches (unless it doesn't really launch after the sound stops), and the sound it makes is a feature similar to the gyros of MIM-104 Patriots or Strela-10s before firing,
And to close the door from the inside, move the camera around the door until you find the button switch from the other side

I'm probably too dumb to use it.. Target locking works just fine. When i fire only the head pops off but the missile itself stays inside the launch pad and some weird sound is noticeable.. also how do i close the driver door after entering? Im quite new so sorry if i dont see obvious errors

Unfortunately, there is no automatic way of selecting one specific launcher, you have to manually deploy one at a time before deploying the other, but you can do chain fire in the new launcher which after the first launcher's ammo depletes, it will launch the missiles of the next launcher using an electrical cable to connect between 2 launchers

And the small screens on the bottoms is for both identifying the targets through camera and for helping guide laser weapons from allied CAS aircraft, though they are not important at all, just an extra feature that happens to also be featured in conventional aircraft

with the vls system use chain firing to use one at a time
IOOON 23 Jun @ 4:11pm
Noted. Btw, is there any possibility of choosing the installation for launching the missile? When, say, there is a truck, an additional vls, and a standard container for 4 missiles. Usually, if all 3 are turned on at once, then 3 missiles will be launched at once, but is there now some function to select one launcher? Well, yes, another question, what is that small screen on the bottom right, closer to the "servers". With the radar and laser settings, what exactly does it set up, or more precisely, for what purpose?

The missile is mainly for intercepting larger targets such as fixed wing aircraft and helicopters, the many fins allow it to turn very hard but the consequences of such maneuverability makes it harder to shoot down small objects such as missiles, I recommend using the less maneuverable SLAMRAAM to shoot down smaller and less maneuverable objects, also for reminder, auto targeting is for the turret to turn to the direction of the selected target, not for auto selecting the first target it sees
