The Corsair – Animation Tweaks

This is a visual touch-up of every sprite and several animations for The Corsair class by Shay (and several others).
If you don't already have this class I highly recommend it - Shay makes some quality stuff.





What’s Changed:
Head + Face:
-Head size is reduced on certain skill sprites where it appeared large (seemed to be an optical illusion from her small frame)
-Face is altered - based on the Guild-Header sprite for the class.
-Chin/jawline is thinner on certain sprites.


Walk / Idle Animation:
-Re-did the animation skeleton so I could add some natural arm and shoulder movement.


Combat Animation:
-Shifted the upper body forward slightly to look more threatening - she's looking to set folks on fire.



Sprite Poses
-On a few sprites: changed the position of head/legs/arms to look more dramatic with more weight put in to attack.


Hero Portrait:
-Re-did all portraits so that they match the new face.






Load above the original Corsair mod to override visuals.

***ALL credit goes to Shay and their team for the creation of this class. Any tweaks I made were done with assets that they had created.

This is more of a love letter to their work - if they request that this be taken down I'll happily do so.

I get the complaints about the smile, but it doesn't bother me personally. Some people are going to react to hardship differently ;)

@SirFartzalot. Those Bloodborne/Dark Souls/Exaelus mods are using the vanilla classes' skeletons. They're very cool, but could use an update to their graphics. It'll make them unique and atmospheric. Keep up the good work!

Funny enough I have partially done animation mods for Cain Knight and Saw Hunter on the go already. Once I patch up my current mods and finish one other those will be finished next :)

I love these animation reworks! Could you also rework the Exaelus' mods, and the rest of the Dark Souls/Bloodborne mods?

@neIVIesis Thank you! Yeah I was conflicted on it. I opted for it since I noticed some comments requesting it on the original mod page - some folks liked how it looked on her Guild-Header sprite.

However it's all the same to me.

To anyone else out there! Smile or no smile?
