Optimized Building Components

Description
What Is It?
This is a mod that adds simple, optimized, multiplayerable™ components for vehicle use. These components utilize the new component modding update, meaning you can:
  • Upload vehicles using them to the Workshop
  • Create vehicles and bring them to private and public servers (assuming they aren't lame with rules)
  • Add a "components" folder to your "Steam\steamapps\common\Stormworks\rom\data" folder, and dump all of the .bins from this workshop item into it to be able to have the components in your catalog everywhere. (Not recommended)

Content
Block Panels
  • Various arrays of blocks that are designed to optimize large builds by trading the rather small file size of each panel for the hundreds of single block definitions in your vehicle file. They can easily be found by typing in the dimensions of the panel you want up to 16x16 (5x9) (2x3) (LargerxSmaller). They can seal rooms and are paintable on all sides.

Liquid Rockets
  • Liquid Rockets normally come with large blocked and sloped bases which are inconvenient because it makes them bulky and the slopes prevent embedding into certain vehicles. For that reason I have added versions of them without the bases and with their fluid ports moved up accordingly.
  • I also added a little baby Liquid Rocket that I made while practicing using blender. The two gimbals on it seem to be broken right now so I'll have to check that.

Bottomless Fluids
  • To go along with the liquid rockets, I've made blocks that contain infinite amounts of pressurized Oxygen and Hydrogen to fuel these rockets. They come in both straight and angled orientations. There's also a Diesel version.

Other Compact and Trimmed Components
  • Alternate light block without the cube base and with a paintable light base.
  • Alternate rope anchor without the cube base that is paintable (Paint 86,86,86 for default color).
  • Alternate door frame corners without the blocks (They're a little strange to use, but still work completely).
  • Alternate vehicle control handle that has a smaller build hitbox
  • 1x1 Vehicle Parachute
  • Wedged fluid ports (1x1, 1x2, and 1x1B)

I probably won't add wedges since they are a lot more complicated then square shapes, but I do believe someone else is working on some ship hull parts? I'd just keep an eye out for that

would it be possible to add large wedge panels? for big ship hulls/ builds, im trying to make a 1:1 destroyer and the build is to large to even load my logic, im currently adding all the big panels i can which is a live saver atm!

@ZipDoodle: Yes they will work everywhere assuming you first make your vehicle in a save with this mod enabled. You could alternatively add these components directly to your game files to have them in your catalog everywhere, but it would require manual updating

@Samilam: Imma be honest those are my first LUA modded components and I barely got them to work. I might try to make something like that at some point

Think it would be cool to have a block where you limit fuel consumption instead of just endless. Example I extract 1L from my fluid tank but i get 10L, and then maybe some different versions of that block like with different ratios, 20x, 10x, 5x, ect
