Rome Total War Classic Combat

Description
This is the 'Combat' overhaul section of my larger mod 'Roma Invicta', which can be found here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=412666551

Note: This mod does not add the formations, unit changes, weapon changes, units, factions, campaign changes, AI changes, abilities, or any aspect of the original overhaul. This mod simply changes how units act in combat with one another.

The goal of this mod, is to replicate (as close as possible), the combat of the original Total War game. What this mod does to replicate Rome 1 combat, is:

* Units in melee will now spread out, and give room for their men to fight

* Weaker units will get pushed backwards as they lose the fight

* Cavalry has a much more 'heavy' impact when charging

* Infantry in melee combat now form 'battle lines', which they will add reserves to during the fight

* You may see unique events, like singular men running from the fight, or running towards the fight. You may see a couple of cowards refusing to fight, or 2 men holding off 10 men.

* Battles are much more fluid, and have an overall deeper 'feeling' to them (I watched a unit of Oathsworn hold off 2,000 Iernic cannibals in my main mod, and make a gigantic killing circle, pushing outwards, each pair of men working as a team, and coming to each other's aid)

* Removed the buggy formation attack.

* Removed 1v1 'Special' Animations (They still happen, but almost never). Units will now backstab/gangup like they would in Rome Total War.

Feel free to comment any bugs/feedback/suggestions here.

* * You may use my mod in other mods if you give proper credit, and notify me of it's use.

@Sergaram if I could, I would, but so much is hardcoded and beyond my abilities.

The first Rome was my first total war, I have very good memories...perhaps I am asking too much but I miss the old system of the central square in the settlements and the manual garrisons without generals, again, thank you very much for this mod

@Tenshuo It should still work. The 'mod is out of date' stuff is typically nonsense. If it doesn't work, let me know.

@hassan 321
Probably. Unless they alter battle entities, which I cannot remember if they do or not. It should still work for all vanilla units and shouldn't crash regardless.
