Roman Empire Scenario (v5) - english & german

Description
Game in the ancient world. With all the trimmings.

Beginning 250 BC

Very first try of mods. Let's see how he likes.
And if everything is working.

-------------------------------------------------- --------

► complete map of the ancient world (Mediterranean)
► 12 playable nations.
► Every nation with its completely own units with individual strengths and weaknesses.
► new leaders with new skills for all nations
► several new nations (Gauls, Pontus, Sparta, Iberians, etc)
► A number of new buildings (eg Sphinx, Roman Forum, Roman Imperial Palace, fur traders, Fisheries, and and and)
► Matching religions of antiquity
► Loads of new city-states (such as Syracuse, Libya, Etruscan, Massilia, and much more.)
► Thanks among others the designer of "Ethnic Units" all nations with visually matching units
► Many units require building as a basis. For example, Elephant units need the elephant house, this in turn can be built only in cities with the Resource "elephant / ivory".
► Both the leaders (images), as well as the United Nations itself is part fantasy flowed with. So it gets a bit more varied.

-------------------------------------------------- --------

Every nation has its own challenges.
Create with Rome the mighty Roman Empire, or play one of the other nations and lead them to true thickness.
But be careful, Rome is a very tough opponent.

The barbarian nations (Gaul, Germanic, Numidia, Dacia and the Iberians) are not as developed as the other nations.
They have their own buildings and types of units.
More challenging.

Completely finished playable version.
Only some of the elements have not yet been completed, with descriptions, etc.
From the gameplay and features the version should however be fully playable and ready

----------------------------------------------------------

Many thanks to "rocbevo" for the translation :-)

Spiel in der Antike. Mit Allem was dazu gehört.

Beginn 250 v. Chr.

Allererster Versuch eines Mods. Schauen wir mal, wie er gefällt.
Und ob alles funktioniert.

----------------------------------------------------------

► komplette Karte der Antike (Mittelmeerraum)
► 12 spielbare Nationen.
► mehrere neue Nationen (Gallier, Pontos, Sparta, Iberer, etc)
So wirds etwas abwechslungsreicher.

----------------------------------------------------------

Jede Nation bietet eigene Herausforderungen.

----------------------------------------------------------

Komplett fertig spielbare Version.

Such a good mod. Just wish that the AI attacked others more and built more soldiers. Usually, the player Civ is the dominant force driving events in the mod.

I like it, it's probably the best and one of the only Roman era scenarios out there. I just have one question rather than complaint: The AI for major civs is kind of brain dead. They don't really attack city states too often and haven't gone to war with each other my whole game. I thought it would be a good idea attacking city states to raise my "bad boy" or whatever it's called penalty, hoping a major would DOW me, but to no avail. Still, a very good scenario

idk if you're still working on this mod, but I have two suggestions:

1. when the game starts, everyone except the barbarians should be in contact with each other, and most of the map should be revealed to everyone except the barbarians (meaning the Iberians, Gauls, Dacians, Numidians, and Germans)

2. the Seleucids should replace the Persians as a playable faction, and another kingdom could be added in to replace the Persians (such as Epirus or the Scythians

Great mod!

My favorite MOD. I have a question. When playing as Rome how do I create a Roman Longswordsman? When playing as Carthage I battled against them however when playing as Rome I did not see the ability to create them even when adding the Legion Barracks wonder.
Any insight from anyone would be appreciated.
