Dracos Merged Pack w/ lvl 100 Cap & Vanilla Stat+Skill Gains

Description
GENERAL UPDATE
In the comments I mentioned that I was digging through Apocalypse to determine what needs to be done to reduce the level cap below 100 while keeping the difficulty features. I believe I have a good idea of what's required, but the situation is a bit more complicated than I originally thought. With the various mods in my preferred load order overlapping in certain areas (particularly in GLOBALS.DAT), it's probably in my best interest to go through and check every file against each other and rebuild by hand. It'd be quite a bit of work.

There are two, maybe three potential versions: one that's just Apocalypse Deleveled, one that's compatible with Synergies and TL2E, and then possibly one that wraps it all back into Draco's again.

-------------------------

With the removal of Apocalypse that PSNick & co. made for the original Draco's Merged Pack to fix the level 101-200 multiplayer issues, things ended up a little off balance (at least in my opinion). Apocalypse did more than just increase the level cap, it also made the game significantly harder with greatly increased enemy damage and HP.

To me it felt like the original Draco's Merged Pack was designed with Apocalypse in mind, which included the doubled Stat and Skill gains on each level. Without the greatly increased difficulty characters with these doubled gains quickly seem to spiral out of control. Wearing level 30+ items around level 10 is... just a little nuts.

This pack is itself a modification of PSNick's own edit that removed Apocalypse Mod, which now also takes out Double the Points. Really all I did was delete a few graph files, all credit goes to those two, as well as the original mods' authors!

If you use General Passives for All, also by Draco1122, your Skill points per level will increase to 2. Skill points gained from fame remain at 1.

- My Load Order:
Enhanced Retex part 1
Enhanced Retex part 2
Dracos Merged Pack w/ lvl 100 Cap & Vanilla Stat+Skill Gains
LAO 2.0 (Nerf) (or LAO III, or any full version of LAO, if you're looking for the extra features)
Arkham's & Ripper's Armory
General Passives For All
Addon TO Additional Classes
SynergiesMOD Compatible Torchlight 2 Essentials
SynergiesMOD
Additional Classes

Played on Elite, seems to provide just the right amount of "oh crap" moments without fights otherwise just dragging on.

I prefer LAO 2.0 Nerf in this setup because it provides a variety without becoming overwhelming. Unique items have a short limited list with strong effects (+25% damage, +15% armor, +140 HP) some of which are special to them, while rare and magic items have a much larger list of individually weaker generic values (+9% damage, +7% armor, +3% dodge, +4% attack speed, +4% execute, +2% crit, +70 HP). Just about anything can be useful depending on what you're building for! It can mean that uniques are rather weak early on, but they catch up towards the end-game.

If you wish to use the full version of LAO 2.0 as well as LAO 2.0 Nerf, you can get a merged version of Enhanced Retex from this link:
http://www.runicgamesfansite.com/vbdownloads.php?do=download&downloadid=382
Make sure you use the second mirror, the Steam-specific version!

To install:
1.) Navigate to your TL2 mods folder. This is usually found in "My Documents/My Games/Runic Games/Torchlight 2/mods"
2.) Create a new folder there named "enhanced retex full"
3.) Open the zip file containing enhanced retex full
4.) Select and drag (extract) both files in the zip into the "enhanced retex full" folder you just made
- 4.5) May be necessary to delete/unsubscribe-to the split Enhanced Retex. Don't worry, it isn't being updated anymore.
5.) Start/Restart TL2's mod launcher, and replace the two parts of Enhanced Retex with the merged version in your load order.

@fulcrum

The max fame increase may still be in the pack, I only remember reverting the max character level change. The max fame increase is also known to break multiplayer.

I doubt this will ever be updated again, so if you're looking for multiplayer options, I believe this is still functional:

This mod merge, even when loaded on its own, crashes the host game during multiplayer as soon as the first guest connects :(

@Draco
Hey, thank you for putting it all together! It's a great pack in general.

There's a few things I'd love to update (more bugs creeping up here and there over time), but unfortunately I no longer have the time to playtest as much as I used to. Regardless, it's always awesome to the mod community continue to truck along!

Thank you A Cat for making this version for players. I have for now retired from torchlight two modding. Glad to see versions of my mod projects people can use.

Just to clarify for any who wander in, LAO III should also work just fine. However, keep in mind that this pack is starting to look a bit outdated (as are the mods its based off of), and there are other options (and modpacks) out there that do similar things, and likely in a more well-balanced manner. Don't be shy, shop around!

When used by itself, all LAO2.0 Nerf does is adjust the affix system as described above. Basically, unique items have fewer stronger effects, rare and magic items have a larger, wider list of inndividually weaker values.

The full version of LAO2.0 includes a bunch of new affixes and modifications to items. All Nerf is doing is changing how affixes are appearing on items, regardless of where those affixes come from. It is technically an addon to the base mod, but functions perfectly well without it.

Odd question im a bit new to all this but I am running the exact load order setup including LAO 2.0 Nerf but the nerf says its an addon to the original mod and should be loaded above it however I am at the "10 mod limit" so I am not sure if the mod is doing anything.
