The max fame increase may still be in the pack, I only remember reverting the max character level change. The max fame increase is also known to break multiplayer.
I doubt this will ever be updated again, so if you're looking for multiplayer options, I believe this is still functional:
Draco's Mod Collection. Packs and Mods for Torchlight 2 [www.nexusmods.com]
Draco's Latest Merge Pack Gameplay Pack v32
要安装:
Hey, thank you for putting it all together! It's a great pack in general.
There's a few things I'd love to update (more bugs creeping up here and there over time), but unfortunately I no longer have the time to playtest as much as I used to. Regardless, it's always awesome to the mod community continue to truck along!

Make sure you use the second mirror, the Steam specific version. :P
The full version of LAO2.0 includes a bunch of new affixes and modifications to items. All Nerf is doing is changing how affixes are appearing on items, regardless of where those affixes come from. It is technically an addon to the base mod, but functions perfectly well without it.
Don't forget that TL2's config files I'm pretty sure are saved on the cloud, it may have something to do with his configuration. You can try disabling the cloud saving on TL2 (right click, properties, Updates tab, Steam Cloud at the bottom), close Steam completely, then go to "My Documents\my games\Runic Games\torchlight 2" and delete the "local_settings.txt" file. When you start Steam again and run the game, it should rebuild the settings file from scratch.
Good luck!
There isn't much I can do other than give some advice.
Try modding from the "bottom up". By that, I mean start with the Additional Classes mod. Start a new character just for testing. Does the game load? If yes, exit out and add just SynergiesMOD. Load that test character. Does it work? Repeat with the Synergies TL2 Essentials, test again. Repeat until you have the entire list loaded and that test character seems to be working.
If you get that far, then load your old character. If the character still doesn't load, it may be corrupted. It's unfortunate, but that happens sometimes even with the vanilla game.
Would like to ask, I downloaded everything and followed your loadout. But, my game keeps crashing during loading screen. Why is that? Any help? :(
TL2 is no longer a walk in the park with this. The mod is certainly responsible for that, no denying it. All variations of it boost bosses to be much stronger than previously. It IS possible to beat him (I did) but it'll probably come down to as much luck as skill. It may also help to bring a friend along, but that's obviously only if you have someone else also playing the mod.
More experience and gear may also help. You can reset the world by loading your character in LAN (which provides all of the options of going Online) and selecting the Reroll World option, and then you can go slaughter more things. You can keep doing that as many times as necessary until you think you're strong enough to try again. Good luck!
Till now everything was going ok, some deaths, good gameplay and all but sudently... The netherlord!!! He kills me in 1 hit.
Till here all was good but trying to kil the netherlord after his 1st transfrmation without getting hit its kind of impossible. ANY toughts?
Thx
Hey, no problem! And yeah, some mods can be tricky at times. While somewhat unrelated to your issue, at one point in time there was a mysterious conflict between Synergies and TL2 Essentials, in that when played solo offline they worked just fine together, but in multiplayer they would cause crashes and sync issues. I remember specifically reading that the two authors had talked and tried to work it out, but they were clueless as to what was actually causing the issue. Obviously it's been fixed now but I think it required a rather large rewrite of TL2E to get it working properly, hence the Synergies-specific version.
Regardless, sometimes you end up with weird issues that you just can't track down. I'm actually having that issue with the Apocalypse remake I've been trying to do. I feel like I've missed something, but it could just be reliable old TL2 doing its thing. :P
And just to clarify, as far as I know it does this so people can play in multiplayer together with the same mods. It's easier to just check for a mod ID number than it is to inspect every single file for consistency.
That's exactly right. Each new mod is given its own ID, which is also the URL/address that Steam uses to identify it. So say you download mod "500", then download mod "600". You make a character with those mods loaded, and IDs 500 and 600 are then saved with that character. If you later decide to combine those mods into a new single mod, it won't have an ID of 500 or 600, it'll have something entirely different. Say, 700.
Since your character's save game was made with 500 and 600, and you're now trying to load 700, even though the content contained inside the mod may be the same, TL2 will tell you that you have the wrong mods installed/activated and prompt you to fix the "problem". As far as I know, there's no way to change that, and there's no way to force your compilation to use a different mod's ID either.
I'm not sure what the problem you have is, specifically.
1.) If it has to do with trying to combine mods to reduce your load order:
Save files are attaching themselves to a mod ID (for instance, in this mod's case, 602430587), so when you recompile a collection of mods you change the value. While the content may still exist inside the mods you combined and compiled, TL2 is specifically looking for the IDs connected to that save game, so it won't accept the new compilation.
2.) If it has to do with compiling and uploading:
Unfortunately there isn't much I can help you with on that end. GUTS has a few issues when compiling/uploading mods it seems, it took me 3 or 4 tries to get this one compiled and uploaded properly. Just gotta keep at it!
Oh, thx a lot, Sir)!
And thx for a great job).
Little too late for a correction to my post, left out an "issues" in there! :P
Good luck figuring it out! I had some issues with that a long time ago. Here's the list of ports necessary, the last I saw. You know, in case you need them: https://support.runicgames.com/kb/articles/27-network-port-requirements
We all have a steam version. Vanilla game is working good, and i think this is PORT issue. I hate this. I need to try open router ports. Thanks for help, we will try all)
If your internet game list isn't populating at all? That could mean you're having firewall or port forwarding. That's not something I can really help with. I would suggest you and your friend testing with a vanilla (no mods) game first, then a simple modded version (say, the texture pack), checking each time to make sure you can connect to each other.

@PSNick
Well what do you know, neat! Thank you, I appreciate the link! Though, a quick correction on that, this repack is technically making the game HARDER rather than easier since you have less skill points to spend. :P I'm still working on some rebalancing stuff in the background, when I get the time, still hoping I can make a version of Apocolypse scaled under 100.
Unfortunately, something that vague is difficult to test for. Are both of you using the same version (Steam vs Retail)? Are you both using the EXACT same mod loadout, in the same load order? Did you both start the game using the "Launch with Mods" option?
In the Internet screen there's a little section at the top with current online mod configurations [i.gyazo.com] of users playing custom games. If one of you starts a new game the mod config should show up in that list, which you can hover your mouse over to see. That would tell you if one of you is out of sync, mod-wise. One of you can click on that loadout (if you're out of sync) and you'll get a wrench icon [i.gyazo.com], which allows you to restart your game using the exact same mod setup.
Cheers!
Nick
Thx.

If you're playing over LAN (as in in the same building, not using a VPN) the issue can still crop up, particularly if you're wireless. TL2 doesn't do much to try and recover afterwards, so yes, what Psykrom suggested. The person who tends to desync (which I believe should be the client, not the host) should go first through zone changes. It won't fix ALL the desync issues, but it'll help.
The original pack this is based off of I believe was intended for online play (until the level 101-200 glitch was discovered). The only thing I can suggest is to try it and see.
Synergies can desync because of the crazy amount of stuff in general going on at all times, since it adds a lot more to the game (which means more data being tossed around that the game has to deal with). This pack is mostly changing what's already there, not really adding all that much. I would assume it should be fine?
But yes, for Torchlight 2 in general, unless a mod specifically states that it's relying on another (like the Synergies' TL2 Essentials), you can usually remove anything in a recommended load order and replace it with something else.
So if you have 10 mods already, you'll have to figure out which one to get rid of to replace it with this. :P
