‘Difficulty rating: Very easy’? You’ve got to be bonkers, you die out on turn 15 as Visigoths with this mod enabled, without even ever being attacked by anyone. I’ve been running around sacking every possible settlement, sometimes 2 in 1 turn; I’ve given both my armies and both my generals skills that have to do with income, I’ve even maxed out taxation, disbanded several units, and even received about 2000 from Ostrogoths for treaties – and all of that still wasn’t enough to support an army that would give you any change against a potential attacker. Settling isn’t an option either because a couple legions come after you almost immediately, and if you have enough units to repel them you don’t have any money and are in massive debt so you can’t build anything, and if you disband any units the Romans will crush you. This mod completely breaks the game

can someone just make a mod that increases the income of the roman expedition because you get out of money really fast

This works better if you also run another mod that halves the unit upkeep.

Can you make another mod but only affect the player?? (i like challenge so i want that the AI have the bonus of income... I just do not want to have it)

I agree with -VG- Kortzfleisch. By removing base income and increasing say trade, industry, and agriculture it would really make a difference what buildings you built and where. Also most resources give very little actual value. They should be greatly swought after. Thanks

Hey King,
if you read this: The normal tax income should be increased. The mod should not reduce the money you have, just make it depending on your settlements. So to compensate for the lost base income, increase tax and such income by a lot. So that it becomes profitable to invest in commercial builds (the return on investment is currently something laughable)
That would be great, thanks :)

I like the idea of this mod as it get really annoying that the single region factions can have something like 10 armies. But as a migrating faction you will be losing at least 1k per turn due to the lack of base income.

Can someone explain this mod to me, I'm confused. Surely less income would make it harder?
