FCR FAS-20 Sioux Fighter

The Sioux series of fighters is a relatively new arrival to the FCR Navy, having entered service way too late to see any significant actions during the Revolutionary War. Experiences during the war have shown the need for a high performance, environment agnostic fighter craft. Although not the first trans-atmospheric fighter design, it is certainly one of the most modern, surpassing the specifications of the venerable Wolverine series of the Allied Earth Navy.

The Sioux boasts excellent atmospheric handling, although with a somewhat more limited space handling flight envelope when compared to the Terran Consortium's Grendel series. The Sioux makes up for this with excellent shielding and firepower.
