Description
Hint: If the mod is out of date, simply hit the check box in the launcher called "Enable out of date mods". This mod doesn't change a whole lot and it doesn't break with new updates.

Added new look for the Border Princes (based on the Free Company look)

Added colored helmets!

Redone Kislev and added a new look for Estalia, made the blue actually look blue (stupid default Altdorf coloring makes them purple)

This mod adds a new look to the Empire State Troops. It is a small cosmetic change that gives them more frills and variations. Tabletop fans might find that the models look a bit more accurate in this case. It makes them utilize all the unique shield models in the game (normally only used by Reiksguard in this case) and gives them the torso variant from the artillerymen that has more frills, as well as the leg variant with the wonderful, historically-accurate codpiece.

Not only that, but the mod also adds tri-color compatibility for the applicable Empire and Bretonnian factions. This is especially useful for factions like Marienburg, since it distinguishes them from their neighbors.

The factions with tri-color are:
Nordland
Marienburg
Ostermark
Talabecland
Border Princes
All Bretonnian factions besides Bretonnia itself
Kislev

Middenland, Wissenland, and Reikland (Empire) now use a new color scheme. Utilizing the units variants colors tables, I have been able to incorporate the colors of the respective city-states into each armies color scheme without overwriting the default colors. Now, Middenland uses both its standard blue/light blue bi-color with Middenheim's blue/white bi-color, Wissenland uses their Grey/Dark Grey/Red tri-color with Nuln's black/red bi-color, and Reikland uses their white/red bi-color with Altdorf's blue/red bi-color. Confused? See the screenshots for examples.

It also adds a completely new look for Tilea by giving them reskinned Empire equipment. They also use large, pavise-like shields in combat, to further differentiate themselves from their northerly neighbors.

Unlike MEN OF THE EMPIRE, this mod makes the State Troops a bit LESS armored, so if that isn't your preference, then you might not like this mod. However, it is compatible with the standalone, upgrade-only version of MEN OF THE EMPIRE as well as my unit packs.

To see the variations for Tilean units, you will either need a faction unlocker to play as them, or you will have to fight them in the campaign. The same now goes for Kislev and Estalia. They don't really look like tabletop, but it is better than nothing, and it helps clear up the repetition of fighting them as Chaos.

Note that this is only a cosmetic mod. No changes to unit stats were made.

Any chance of this being updated? I noticed that soldiers dont keep the model swap changes you made, but still keep the colour palettes

Hey prime. Check colors on the empire factions from Eye for an Eye if you can friend. My Carroburgers are getting that deep black that happens when theres no color imput.

Hey mate, I sent you a friend invite. I'm the creator of Steel Faith Overhaul, and I wanted to talk with you about integrating your work into my mod. My mod is all about making the game closer to lore, and vanilla Kislev just doesn't cut it, but this mod really makes a big difference. I would list you as a contributor, and give full credit to you for your work.

Hope to talk with you soon.

Trucks, I'll take a look see when I can. Give me a few days, some liquor, and a few cups of pure motivation and I'll see what I can do. God willing I get an affirmative from Minister Sinister to recycle his work as I dont wanna publish anything without word from him.
