Transport Deconstructor v3.0

An easy-to-build, extreme-duty, multi-role utility ship that can Grind in space or atmosphere.

Hotkey set #1 is tool-disconnect mode. Press 1 to toggle grinders and strobe activity lights on/off. (Ctrl + 1)
Hotkey set #2 is manual mode. No running lights; works like a traditional grinder ship. (Ctrl + 2)

You can apply Upgrade Chips to the side of the grinders for better efficiency from the Tiered Ship Tools mod.
Just place the chip on the brackets on the blockspace in front of the Spotlights.

Cargo Containers are Code-Indexed for convenience:
In the Terminal type " TC " to bring up JUST the four large cargo boxes (Thrusters parts, Metal grid, Powercells, etc..)
Type " C - H " or " C - Hub " that is the letter C, SpaceBar, Hyphen (or dash, whatever you call it) another SpaceBar and finally H or Hub.
This will filter all the Medium Cargo Containers. (smaller parts like Steelplate, Motors, Computer parts etc..)

Take the station from your carrier TO the planet, build then go back and get more!


Features over vanilla version:

1. Five more medium containers totaling at fourteen.

2. The most abundant thing you'll be grinding and welding are steel plates so I've set six cargo boxes to hold just that and they're set for weight distribution (three at the front and three in the back) that way you won't be constantly leaning left or right.

3. Slightly better aesthetics (thanks nukeguard!) very good for hauling wheeled vehicles on a planets surface.
Note: Do NOT roll over in atmosphere, this ship will not hover upside down!

4. Cockpit LCDs will show you all items you're carrying, total cargo box volume, reactor output and battery life using MMaster's Automatic LCDs 2 and Isy's Inventory Manager. (extra blank program blocks incl. if you want more scripts)

5. Power is a non-issue. You could probably power a Largegrid with this version of the T. Decon. (<130 MW)


S.O.P for speed mods :
If you use a speed mod, be really slow on the way down Earthlike. Like, below 100m/s slow if you're carrying the ships weight several times over ( 120,000 - 140,000 Kg )

Once you descend to the point that Ion Thrusters won't lift the ship anymore but you're not close enough for the Atmospheric Thrusters to work either, you'll only plummet down to the point where the Atmo. Thrusters start working and they're slow to get into high-gear.
Atmos. start somewhere around <9000m and near maximum thrust is around <3000m so if you're not below 150ish m/s at 3000m above the surface you're probably going to be a orange crater in a few seconds.

However a speed mod makes leaving the planet super easy. Kinda offsets the slow descent just remember to do a Hi-G Turn and either use the bottom thrusters or the forward thrusters to slow down.


FUNFACTS!:
Prior to Keens nerf of cargo box volume some time ago, this ship could literally carry 1/4 of a 400m long cruiser in its cargo boxes as parts! And that was the first version of the Transport Deconstructor! (will upload later)

Also w/ Keens nerf of small ship thrusters dampening to 1x (madness) the pilot has to perform a High-G turn to create alot of drag instantly just to stop. Like stopping a helicopter which this pretty much is.

With the Gravity Collector oriented above you can keep grinding with a hand grinder and when the part explodes in a confetti shower of parts the collector will pull them up making acquiring large ion thrusters from a derelict fun!
I call this "UFO-ing"

All scripts are pre-installed in Program Blocks, Hotkey set #4 Program Blocks Toggle on/off press 3 to Toggle on/off. (program blocks incl.)
