Description
Loved the Mortar and the Great Cannon but found the Hellstorm and Hellblaster supremely lackluster? This mod aims to address that issue.

Hellstorm: The Hellstorm is now a dedicated heavy duty low armoured infantry smasher dealing 90 instead of 40 standard explosive damage in it's AoE, since this damage type is mitigated by armour it is much less effective against heavily armoured units, but against large masses of modestly armoured troops this improved Hellstorm will decimate with wild abbadon. To address some friendly fire issues that could result from close range shots causes the rockets to deviate inside the minimum range, the minimum range has been increased.

In addition as of V1.1 the accuracy factor has been slightly improved dropping from 190 to 150, (lower is better). This has allowed the damage increase to be reduced, (the new value is the one listed above), which helps deal with some of the issues that could take place with some well armoured units without nerfing it overall vs it's intended target types. It's still not the most acurratte of artillery, but it's a little improved.

Hellblaster: Various projectile properties have been edited, previously they behaved more like handgunner shots, hitting a single model with each shot, now they behave like their dwarven counterpart the organ gun, possessing the ability to plow through entire ranks to hit multiple enemies. The Range has also been extended to match it's dwarfen counterpart and the damage has been doubled. This should allow the hellblaster to fulfil it's existing heavy armour piercing mass damage dealer role at a level appropriate to a unit that is amongst the more expensive in the game.

In addition as of V1.2 the ammunition count has been reduced from 198 to 144, this prevents it's total battle long damage from climbing too high without limiting it's short term burst potential.

In addition to all of the above as of V1.1 the Great Cannon,. Hellblaster, Hellstorm, and Mortar have had their angle of fire increased from 40 degree to 70 degrees, this was done mainly for the Hellblasters benefit as it;s short range could highly constrain target selection, but it only seemed fair to extend the same change to the rest of the artillery. The Steam tank and Luminark are unchanged.


V1.3 updates for compatibility with patch 1 (blood knights release).
