Animated Combat (Vanilla Move)

Description
Version of my Animated Combat Mod that increases the number of attack animations by all units. This version returns the original movement values from the vanilla game to increase the speed of movement around the battlefield to original values.

Updated Dec 9th for Wood Elves and all previous dlc

It still maintains alterations to fatigue, morale, combat animation speed and various combat calculations. The overall game should be approximately the same speed as per vanilla, or slightly slower.

The mod does not affect any units directly so should be compatible with most newly created units. The only change I have made to the current set of units is to increase arcs of fire to 90 from 60 as I found them to be too narrow, especially with faster moving units.

It should be compatible with any mod that does not effect battlefield rules directly. Unfortunately the counts it out against Proper Combat and Radious, it will not be compatible with them.

As an example the mods I currently run are as follows.

Aminated Combat, Restricted Agents, Regional Occupation, Unit Champions, Molays magic overhaul, More varied Zombies, resized lords, valuable veterans, better traits and two personal mods one altering difficulty level campiagn bonuses and the other altering diplomacy.

Why does this prevent changes to weapon strenght on other mods? it makes it highly incompatible with mods that changes weapon strenght on certain units, legendary lords, generals and heroes.

Not sure hwat was going on there, seems something went wrong with both files. That'll teach me for trying to use the 'quick' method of editing the tables in the mod tools instead of pfm. Fingers crossed it's ok now, though the uploader and starter app seem to be having issues of their own, let me know. Thanks for picking this up so quick

what i meant to say was, it doesnt keep the move speed from vanilla, it has the same move speed as the other mod

This is the vanilla movement speed version of the mod...so yea, the move speeds aren't changed. And I don't know, ask CA...

the mod doesnt change move speed for me, back to vanilla stats. and why does everything run with the walk animations.

Ok folks, update should be done. If you have any issues let me know. If you do and happen to have pfm, check that battle_entities/melee_weapons have just one entry now called Ara_data_core_all. If you have anything else it hasn't updated properly. Enjoy.

Game knocks out some mods for me, units like spiders and orc spearmen dont appear anymore
