Why does this prevent changes to weapon strenght on other mods? it makes it highly incompatible with mods that changes weapon strenght on certain units, legendary lords, generals and heroes.

Not sure hwat was going on there, seems something went wrong with both files. That'll teach me for trying to use the 'quick' method of editing the tables in the mod tools instead of pfm. Fingers crossed it's ok now, though the uploader and starter app seem to be having issues of their own, let me know. Thanks for picking this up so quick

what i meant to say was, it doesnt keep the move speed from vanilla, it has the same move speed as the other mod

This is the vanilla movement speed version of the mod...so yea, the move speeds aren't changed. And I don't know, ask CA...

the mod doesnt change move speed for me, back to vanilla stats. and why does everything run with the walk animations.

Ok folks, update should be done. If you have any issues let me know. If you do and happen to have pfm, check that battle_entities/melee_weapons have just one entry now called Ara_data_core_all. If you have anything else it hasn't updated properly. Enjoy.

Ok I've moved some things around to remove the supposedly offending table. Any luck anyone?

Also has anyone made this work. Of course I only hear when it doesn't work so if it did work for anyone could you let me know please!

Aparently it's the table Ara_data__lu. If you remove that it will work fine. No idea why at all, there are only 5 records in there and it's one of CA's tables, I alter just 1 field by halving the number. Going to have a play around and see what's up though. Still works fine on my system though....

Yea it has the same problem in the other version. Doesn't crash for me, I've deleted, reuploaded, had people delete and redownload...I have no idea what's left to try. Will be trying again once Isabella is released and I've updated for that. Sorry guys...I honestly don't know what else to try with this thing.

Just a heads up this mod now causes the game to crash at launch since the Bretonia update, after narrowing down the culprit.

Steel's work in all the TW's has been great, his mods are definitely worth a playthrough for sure. Give it a go with the mod, but I expect he has his own way of making battles last longer so it might clash a little bit, I honestly don't know.

When it comes to mods like Steel Faith that is a complete overhaul I personally would not be trying to include other mods that alter the balance of combat, since his team will have done their own balancing and while the mods may well work together they may also upset the balance of the game in the mod.

On a similar note I am not testing the mod with every other mod out there, if you want to know if it works just try it and see....

Guys you realy don't need to ask me to update within hours of the mod releasing, it's actually kinda annoying. But anyway update is done (I hope). Remember you may need to delete and resubscribe to avoid whatever fun errors CA have allowed to slip through the update process this time. Happy hunting !

Is there a problem with this mod that causes large scale battles (the combat animations, not actual movement animations or any sort of other sort of graphical/FPS lag) to slow down when units are engaged in melee combat? They stutter and behave as if, for example, the engine can't process all the visceral carnage and attacks without making it look like...well. units fight in slow-mo

Ok deleted, reuploaded, checked the version from the upload by subscribing myself. Think that's what I did for the other version too. I honestly don't know what's messing up but it's something in the update system causing this since I haven't altered anything in the mod since I updated the tables. Hopefully it works now.

I can't recreate this, it works absolutely fine for me. I would suggest deleting the mod and redownloading it rather than allowing it to update. I've had people have issues with this before so lets hope that solves it. If not I'm not sure what to suggest since I can't get it to fail on my end.

Hey folks, I'm really sorry for the delay on this, I've been on a work project for the past couple of weeks that had me on 12 hour plus days with no time for anything else. This is going to last until sometime next week (I think the shoot ends on the 2nd Nov) so i'll do my best to get to it asap after that. In the mean time if anyone wants to take the mod and update it themselves please feel free, I give my permission to anyone who has the time to do it to get it done!!!!

Yea people are having the same issue with the other version. The weird thing is the tables for the Luminark are identical, nothing has been changed from vanilla so I have no idea whay that's being the case.
