AVE: fortifications part 2.pack

Description
THIS MOD IS PATCH-17 COMPATIBLE ONLY
To switch to 'Patch-17': Go to your Steam page and then select LIBRARY. Right click on your game 'ROME II' on the left. Go to properties. Select BETAS in the pop-up screen. In here you can select 'patch_17'.

This mod adds heavy barricades to the fortification buildings of the mod 'AVE: fortifications', as well as the DeI version.
These new barricades are very strong and will hold up the enemy forces for a longer period of time. They are not indestructible and can still be burned down by flaming arrows.
The barricades are only available from level 2 on.

I created this mod separately, because I don't want subscribers of my originally mod to think the defenses are too strong and therefore turn the mod down. The choice is yours. These new defensive structures, however, are among the best alternatives to fortify your minor towns. I am always open for suggestions, but anyway, this kind of mod surely beats the idea to have all of your towns and cities to become an impenetrable fortress, like the majority on forums don't want to see it happen. The strength of these new barricades can only be reduced, never will I strengthen them more, because I wish to keep the realism. The Romans surely knew how to erect bulwarks and barbarian tribes happen to be known as masters of fortifying their towns, a barricade cannot be indestructible (I have tested indestructible barricades, and they surely work in game, but it is not realistic)

These new barricades are also available for custom battle.

IMPORTANT: You need to have the mod 'AVE: fortifications' or 'AVE:_fortifications_DeI'

Trying the hardest I can to get things right. I hope to get it all fixed before you read this (fingers crossed). It might be so that this mod will be only available for 'Patch-17, but then I will work on a mod to be compatible with the newest patch. So far, no news from CA about fixing the mahem they've caused. For me, it means tons of work, but for you guys it means tons of fustration (which is possibly even worse). The thing is that I am forced to work with 'Patch-17' for some mods, so I cannot delete the mods I provide, and there's an issue that 'Empire Divided' doesn't run when old mods are in the workshop. How can I provide both 'Patch-17' and the newest patch when the comment CA gives is to delete all old mods? WE SHOULD SUE THEM ! Anyway, this mod will be 'patch-17' compatible for now and I'm working on a 'Divided Empire' mod to get everyone satisfied. Once again, let's hope CA recogns that they fucked up big time and that they set things right

The newest upgrade of Creative Assembly is rather drastic. This is why all around the community modders are working very hard to keep their mods working as they did before. Many tables have been changed. The changes, made by Creative Assembly, forces modders around the world to alter their mods, which in some cases could take some time. I can only hope for you, subscribers, to have a little patience. I'm working very hard to get my mods to be compatible with the newest 'patch/DLC'. The upgrades should be launched by 16th of DECEMBER.

For DeI you need the 'Fortifications DeI' version, but this mod is compatible with both versions. This mod is only an add-on, with which you can deploy heavy barricades.

The fortifications are now only available for the owning faction and no longer for all factions in the region (command line was wrong and should now be fixed)
