Trying the hardest I can to get things right. I hope to get it all fixed before you read this (fingers crossed). It might be so that this mod will be only available for 'Patch-17, but then I will work on a mod to be compatible with the newest patch. So far, no news from CA about fixing the mahem they've caused. For me, it means tons of work, but for you guys it means tons of fustration (which is possibly even worse). The thing is that I am forced to work with 'Patch-17' for some mods, so I cannot delete the mods I provide, and there's an issue that 'Empire Divided' doesn't run when old mods are in the workshop. How can I provide both 'Patch-17' and the newest patch when the comment CA gives is to delete all old mods? WE SHOULD SUE THEM ! Anyway, this mod will be 'patch-17' compatible for now and I'm working on a 'Divided Empire' mod to get everyone satisfied. Once again, let's hope CA recogns that they fucked up big time and that they set things right

@regnator how are things coming along? As always appreciate the work you do!

The newest upgrade of Creative Assembly is rather drastic. This is why all around the community modders are working very hard to keep their mods working as they did before. Many tables have been changed. The changes, made by Creative Assembly, forces modders around the world to alter their mods, which in some cases could take some time. I can only hope for you, subscribers, to have a little patience. I'm working very hard to get my mods to be compatible with the newest 'patch/DLC'. The upgrades should be launched by 16th of DECEMBER.

Is this compatible withe latest DEI update?

soooo let me get this straight ... i can use the barricades as waal now.... omg this is aweoms i hate the no wall for minor settlements
REGNATOR  [author] 27 Sep, 2016 @ 4:08am
For DeI you need the 'Fortifications DeI' version, but this mod is compatible with both versions. This mod is only an add-on, with which you can deploy heavy barricades.

SO DEI: ancient Empire compatible ?
REGNATOR  [author] 19 Aug, 2016 @ 6:39am
The fortifications are now only available for the owning faction and no longer for all factions in the region (command line was wrong and should now be fixed)
REGNATOR  [author] 4 Aug, 2016 @ 10:10am
You must have the mod "AVE: fortifications" (this one is part 2). In that mod the defending units receive bonuses for attack, defense and morale (different for each faction group)

anything for infantry?
REGNATOR  [author] 1 Aug, 2016 @ 9:22pm
The pike traps and anti-cavalry stakes are available, but not the burning rolling balls
iftlc 1 Aug, 2016 @ 4:24pm
do they have the burning rolling balls and the pikes on the ground

OK I get it now, thanks!!! GREAT job here.
Bosshead 28 Jul, 2016 @ 5:54pm
Ah OK, and it's DEI compatible? B/cI otherwise LOVE this mod.
REGNATOR  [author] 28 Jul, 2016 @ 4:47pm
That is why I created this sub-mod with heavy barricades, because I know not all would be fond of it, while others would even like impenetrable walls. The only thing you have to do is play with the original fortifications mod, without this add-on (this mod only contains the heavy barricades)
Bosshead 28 Jul, 2016 @ 10:37am
BUG/FLAW - The Heavy Fortifications should be removed. The AI spent 1 hour hacking through them. Soooo boring. This mod is GENIUS and I LOVE it, but the Heavy Fortification fences are excessive, virtually impenetrable and redundant, if not removed I will have to disable the mod imo.

I don't think it is possible to add walls to minor settlements for Rome 2 (not yet). [read mod description 'AVE: fortifications']
I cannot make a version for Attila, since I don't have that game.

Attilla?

Severus 26 Jul, 2016 @ 4:25pm
Great work! Thank you very much. Do you think it is possible to make a submod for building walls in settlements of your choosing? Or maybe in the settlements wich had walls historically
Jesus Loves You^_^ 24 Jul, 2016 @ 3:53am
very good comment and idea...itself. I told many times: ALL settlements in historical times have fortifications of some sort; only vanilla RTW2 give minor towns none, which is highly innacurate. Thank you.
