A small village: markets and homes, storage barns and cellars, bridges and jetty docks, beekeeping and mead brewing, a blacksmith and firewood yard, a chapel and cemetery, and village wells.


what is included?

4, 5 & 6 occupant homes (10 variants)
Cellars (2 variants), Barns (small and large), Warehouses (edibles, goods & general)
Farmer's Market (all food and edibles, health)
Goods Market (fuel, tools, clothes, textiles, wood, iron, stone, coal)
Firewood Yard (1-2 woodcutters)(2 variants)
Blacksmith
Bee Shelter / Apiary (2 variants)
Mead Brewer
Village Wells (3 variants)
Village Chapel
Village Cemetery
Modular Bridges: Drawbridge (2 variants), 3x1 & 4x1 Arch Bridges

This will conflict with Apiary mods, CC and NMT (and any other mod that adds the honey resource), though all can be used together.
Put DSSmallVillage on top for new honey resource model. Uses same template file as Shining Rock Apiary Example.

Installation:
Download 'DS Small Village v1.0' from above
This will be a .zip file (11.1mb), Right-Click, Extract all.
Place the 'DSSmallVllage.pkm' file inside your Banished WinData folder.
Enable the mod in the main menu or inside the game.

@Saint Porksworth, yes one day i will update this for the full version. but that won't be anytime soon. This mod is not compatible with the individual mods.

@discrepency: Why not just upload the individual mods for those who want the individual bits, while keeping this one for those who want the full package?

This mod has now been broken up into individual mods.

I will be uploading them all within the next few weeks.
Please Unsubscribe from this mod, it will not be compatible, and eventually will be removed/replaced.

The first individual mod is:
DS Jetty & Bridge - you can Subscribe to it now. It requires the latest version of Banished (107)

Any chance of a forester lodge/various other profession buildings in this style? I find myself almost not wanting to even use some of the vanilla professions this mod lacks for how appealing these look compared to them.


And perhaps a few more jetty variations, be they functional or asthetic such as a small fishing shack or the like on one.

Nice little mod, could maybe use a bit more variation in how the houses look, like maybe some ivy growing on a wall or some other small decorations as they do look a little uniform right now perhaps. But that's a bit of a nitpick from me really. Overall looks nice and even works alongside some of the vanilla things.

Can you make it so that it also produces BeesWax - making candles, and the candles provide a small amount of heat so my people dont complain so much about the cold. if you can't do the heat part thats ok, just even one more item to produce n trade is cool!

does the general warehouse store everything then? The description doesn't mention wood or stone but not sure if that is just due to not enough space to list everything. If it doesn't what else do I need besides general warehouse to store everything?
