Better Settlement Names

In 1 collection by Player
A Simply Better Campaign
3 items
Description
Renames many settlements to have the names or either more important settlements, making their locations accurate, following the naming convention/logic better, getting rid of made up names not in the lore, or just making them sound way cooler (all lore accurate).

Focused mostly on the Badlands (giving more real settlement names there) and Norsca (replaced with actual city names), as well as more accurate dwarf hold renaming.

Goes great with my Deeper Faction Rename mod!

Mount Silverspear is Mount Squighorn, because it's been taken by orcs. The Pillars are the Pillars.

I was thinking about that, I'd implement some being Karaks and some being Norscan settlements in my A Simply Better Campaign mod if/when I figure out how to make specific regional occupation mechanics (like the Dwarfs and Norscans being able to settle the Norscan Karaks, but Dwarfs not settling Norscan settlements and Norscans not settling other Karaks), along with those northern grey mountain settlements being greenskin/human settlements, badlands desert settlements being greenskin/human, etc, etc
