This mod now adds campaign effects to the Beastmen to work alongside my new addition into the Revival series: Warhammer Revival: Beastmen.

Introduction
I would first like to say that I commend CA on their excellent job on bringing us a full roster with the Wood Elves. This, in my opinion, is the best DLC yet.

Warhammer Revival is a new project I am working on to further bring the spirit of the table top to Total War: Warhammer, starting with the Wood Elves. I've always had a fascination with the lore of Warhammer, as well as a big fan of the Total War games. With Total War: Warhammer being a combination of the two, I knew there would be so much potential for what they could do. But as much as I love this game, there are a few things that CA did leave out that, I feel, would make the game that much better.

Summary
This mod adds 3 new special rules (straight from the 8th ed army book) to the Wood Elf roster, as seen in the images. Eternal Guard, and both Treeman variants get Stubborn. Dryads, Branchwraiths, and Durthu receive Hatred. Warhawk Riders get Predator's Descent. I have also done some changes to the stats of many units to make them feel like they are an army of quick, hard hitting Elves. The main changes can be seen with the archer units, but I touched up the melee ones as well. I believe it to be balanced, their units still die quickly with the exception of a few. All ranged units also have tweaks to their projectile speed, mass, and their ability to hit moving targets. Waywatchers tend to say, "We never miss!", now they actually show that by hitting units more often. Some units have a higher speed than others to show higher skill with the bow.

Changes
With the Asrai finally here, the game is starting to feel more like how Warhammer should feel, a bunch of unique races vying for supremacy. The Wood Elves happen to be one of my favorite races, their archers are amongst the best on the table top, far superior to a Bretonnian peasant with a longbow. However, I am saddened that the archers aren’t as good as they should be, and they aren’t represented as they are in the lore, or on the table top.

On the table top, there are several weapons that the Asrai utilize. The two main weapons are the Asrai Longbow, and the Asrai Spear. The Asrai Longbow and Asrai Spear always have the Armor Piercing rule, regardless of the enchantment. Glade Guard, Deepwood Scouts, Warhawk Riders, Waywatchers, Glade Riders all use Asrai Longbows. Wild Riders, Eternal Guard, and Wardancers use Asrai Spears. Sisters of the Thorn also get AP due to their Blackbriar Javelins. So with these changes, I hope to make the Wood Elf units a bit more fun to play with. Since I made a pretty significant amount of changes, please refer to the discussion page I made on them if you wish to know everything.

My changes are inspired by the Warhammer Fantasy army books, as well as the lore on the race. This is my first addition in a project that will redo all the races to further reflect their army books and their lore.

Compatibility
This mod should be compatible with anything that doesn't change the stats of the Wood Elf units, edit the skill trees of the Wood Elf Lords/Heroes, or the tech tree.

This mod can be used with saved games as well.

FYI, the mod breaks the Spellsinger's animations on a great eagle.

So we are clear it took me 5 minutes to find and change that line for my personal use, i would have hoped you would do right by the community and fix a TINY error, for those who just want the Elf revival. Either way, thanks for the rest of your efforts, and am curious to see your future work regardless of this, as overhauls practically make a new game.

Under a treeman Lord, the skill "the Forest's roar" increases as follows: 3def/2atk - 6/3 - 2/4. Clearly something is wrong, and i looked it up in PFM. In the hero skill table, Line # 905 deals specifically with applying a different defense modifier, can you remove that line? or put it to 8 or 9 def?(i don't know what the default value is)
