Guv's Griffon Knights unit

Description
Hello Guv here, Long time no see! The Wood elves update really did cripple my motivation to mod. But for now, I am back!

Ever seen the Empire's mascot creature? Yes, the Griffon. A mutated creature of Chaos but has a lot of differences from the Manticore since it's tameable. Why're Griffons not around as a basic unit in this game? Well now it is!

I present to you, Griffon Knights!

My goal here is to make a viable unit for vanilla Warhammer as best as I can. The Wood elves update really messed up with my mods and most of my retextured units are broken as of now. I've been searching for help but I slowly gave up. Anyway I started to work on this unit as a requested unit by someone. Since I do not want the Empire to rely on Monster infantry I decided to go easy on this unit. Thought I don't know if I went to easy on it. Well so far I'd say this unit is 75% balanced :) More testing is required.
[EDIT]After much testing, I would like to up the balance of the unit to 85% balanced :) We're really getting there!

[EDIT 08-26] After much more playing, I realised that I more and more avoided to play with this unit. I have now made a significant change to the unit to make it more vanilla friendly and better in certain aspects. Increasing the balance to 90-95%.


Pro's and Con's:

Pros

+ High weapon damage and piercing!
+ Benefits from Demigryph Knights buffs from Tech and lord Skills!
+ Technologies and Lord Skills have been slightly edited to add the Griffon knight text! Check it out!

Cons

- expensive recruitment cost(1700) and upkeep (390).
- restricted recruitment for lvl 5 Altorf and lvl 3 stables.
- Has a tendancy to spread out a lot.

@Adrian Maximillian I do agree that the image was rather poor, but it's better than an ingame picture in my opinion. Never liked those photoshopped icons. Personally I can see a rider and a gryphon. Check the close up in the pictures.

could you please work up your unit card a little bit? barely see any griffon or rider in there... i suggest you look upon zaskar70 (knights of morr) or lieutenant a.kouassi (reiksguard expanded) for example...

I actually used a light wizard for the nets of Amyntock and Eben von Liebwitz on a griffon too you know that one legendary lord of Wissenland seemed fitting to use him in such a way :D

@Baron Von Dorf (SF9912) Ah, the Gelt Tactic. I usually do that with Gelt. He's best fit for such a gimmick.

it is basically napoleonic tactics inserted into total war warhammer no infantry melee units whatsoever

@Baron Von Dorf (SF9912) Looks like a fairly regular Empire army to me.
