But it's alot more work and alot more tricky then what I'v done with this mod that is purely a Texture change mod.
So something like that will probly not see the light of day I'm afraid, the ones who are good at doing just that spend their time modifying other stuff or making new uniqe units from it so to say.
(stuff like making Vlad von carstein have a whole nose for example)

I recomend using 3D portholes, it doens't lower Frame Rate that much tbh, and it looks better and it'll show the correct ones aswell, we'r talking perhaps maximum of 1 less frame per second with them on.
otherwise I'm not sure I follow, the only other portraits I know are the lords that lead your army like when you load a battle.
