Description
PROBLEMS:
This mod contains few bugs that might be gamebreaking and I'm not able to fix them. So use it at your own risk.


(tooltips are from Show Me mod, see below)

A collared beefalo follows into caves and leaves game with player
After x% tamed you can give collar and will also receive a bell to call your beefalo.

Collar:
Name beefalo, it will follow into caves, if near you. You will get the beefalo bell.
Immune to toothtraps.

Beefalo Bell:
Ring the Bell to teleport your beefalo to you.

Also add items moon saddle and Beefer Snack.

Modsettings:
- Set the needed domestication amount to add the collar to the beefalo (after that you get the bell)
- Set collared beefalo to private (riding/calling allowed for other players?)

Rezecibs Balance changes:
- While riding beefalo, a widget on the HUD shows beefalo stats
- [A beefalo's domestication is stored separately for each player] -> removed
- Domestication loss over time is reduced (full loss in 20 days rather than 9 days)
- [Being attacked by a player only deducts domestication for that player] -> removed
- Gain domestication while sleeping next to a player
- [Beefalo can no longer be brushed until they are ready to be brushed] -> removed
- Saddles can be repaired with a sewing kit, but lose durability while riding
- One [Collared] -changed- beefalo near a player save and load with the player (also go to caves)
- Beefalo are faster on roads
- Beefalo now show their favorite player (when domesticated)
- Beefalo collar can now be crafted for 8 silk, 2 moonrocks, and 2 pigskin (art by TheLetterW)
- Giving a collar to a beefalo lets you name it, and prevents the beefalo from dying immediately on health loss.
- Instead of dying, collared beefalo lie in a near-death state for up to a day. Giving them a booster shot revives them at 25% health
- In PvP only, collared beefalo can only be ridden by the player who collared them
- Domesticated beefalo don't share aggro like other beefalo


I recommed to use my Show Me mod version, to get information about actual beefalo stats:

With "Show Me" examine the beefalo will tell you about domestication. And while riding the beefalo and holding an item with your mouse over the beefalo, you will get information how long you can ride it.


This mod can still contain smaller bugs I can not fix, but it is playable.

Can this mod let me see the beefalo taming, hunger and obedience scales?

It crashes my game. Author wrote in description that it might be gamebreaking, so I´m not reporting it as error. Just for you to know.

this beefalo + mod is quite bugged, I stopped working on it, so I wont change it anymore.

But I have a game with my version of show me mod working, so this is not (alone) the reason for the crash.

Interesing mod, tho I think the bell should not be a free item. Maybe you could make it so that when the collar is given then the player get the bell? Like a 2 items craft but you only get the second item after you choose the beefalo.

Unfortunately these are bugs I never was able to fix (beside other small bugs) and I gave up on this and do not use this mod myself. If you or any other modder knows a solutino let me know and I will update.

Nevermind, it seems like pangolden's state graph is just based on beefalo's, but it has no "graze_empty" state for some reason. My understanding is that the fix you have made will work and is the correct way to fix.

after you name your beefalo, when you re log into the game, you can write on you beefalo again. could you change this so you dont have to re name your beefalo every time you log in?

@Swaggy: I don't know much about stategraphs, but assuming it is working without other mods, then this is no error from beefalobell+ mod. It seems the other mod is overwriting the the part from game files where "graze_empty" is defined. But as I said, I don't know much about stategraphs.

I releases a "fix" for this, the funtion only continues if this graze_empty does exist. While this stops the crash, I have no clue what the result and other not-yet-found problems could look like (if graze_empty is missing, there might be even more problems)

The log mentions pangolden which is a creature from hamlet DLC.
