Impressive Armies and Battles Lite

Description
A lite version of my battle mod, Impressive Armies and Battles. Without all the graphical part, for more compatibility. I removed also the tower range (using a major files table), but you can easly add other mod to do that.

ARMIES

- All unit have bigger model than vanilla, the bonus is small but efficient.

- Some soldiers size ratio are modified to bring more life to the game (gobelin and dwarf smaller, some monsters taller, savage orc bigger than normal orc, human heroes with human size, some elite unit bigger than the normal one, etc).

- Add variation model's size for some unit, look more wild and monstrous.

- All unit spacings completely redone, to have bigger and more natural regiment, some unit dont fight in formation, savage orc regiment is more like a wild pack, same for zombie, etc.

BATTLES

- Morale change for longer battle (better bonus for defending city, reduced the huge penality for lossing battle, resulting in mass rout, morale stronger : reduced tables of decrease), unit now will rout only when they are strongly damaged.

- Battle melee hit chance -50%, battles are longer, you can take the time to watch the fight.

- Melee fatigue cost - 50%.

Also, did you change ranged effectiveness at all? It seems like balance would favor them with this mod because a longer battle allows them to empty their quivers.

Exactly how much bigger are the unit models? The 2x size versions are too big and make maneubering n the map not as strategic.

@Den

Do you plan on making more Mods for TWW2? You make some of my favorite mods ever.

CapitaineYolo, thanks again for your knockback idea. I found a way to reduce it, and it's very interesting to see ! I continue my test in this direction.

Thanks CaptitaineYolo, your ideas are interesting. I have run some test, the problem with all unit can knockback it's the knocback itself. In the engine, it cant be varied. And it's really strong, for the charge i wanted for a long time, to reduce it, and dont have the infantry flying, but we cant mod that. And if we have this effect in the battle (soldier flying after a hit), i think it's too much and not immersive.
For the Brutal Battle idea, i really like it. But the problem is all the unit have this "very compact stance", compact melee is impressive and fun to see, but far behind, having all the other soldiers waiting in a big blobbing, like a black friday, i dont like it.
And finally i like the Animated Combat idea, the only problem is the battle is shorter, and i want a longuer battle than vanilla for my battle mod.
I will continue my test to find the best setting for me. XD

Yeah I see what you mean. I guess if you made units with big weapons perform like the middle ground between regular infantry and monstrous infantry it could be done? in other words make them a little bigger than normal soldiers to offset the higher spacing and aoe attacks. Just a suggestion, which im not sure even helps with the blobbing. As far as I know, trolls bunch up just as much as regular soldiers. IF you wanted to raise the distance between models while fighting, which settings would you need to adjust?

Also, regarding balance. I think its important to reward strategic use of units. Due to the higher spacing of units when idle, they are way less vulnerable to missiles as engaged, blobbed up units. I really like this, because it rewards keeping reserves, which vanilla does not.
